They aren't all short..only COD and Battlefield. Killzone 3 was actually kind of long and so is Army of Two, Just Cause 2, Prototype, Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption... it seems like only the realistic war games have short campaigns because they only want people to play the online part.

I did the story missions first, then had my fun when I was closer to the end in between missions. It's more fun when you unlock more stuff to use.
If they do this then they need to make a new PS3 with a hdd size of 500 GB or 1.5 TB because there is just not enough space to fit every PS1 and PS2 game on a 320 GB PS3.
[QUOTE="DarthVeng_basic"]Anymore? Lol, CoD has never had a lengthy campaign. Not a single one. Every one of them have been roughly the same length. you should go play Call of Duty Classic, I assure you it is longer than 45 minutes. They also dont have a decent lengthy Single Player campaign anymore,

agreed. Even if they didnt make a new one and just remade san andreas for the PS3 and added trophies I would be totally satisfied with that. I went to play San Andreas the other day but the now-horrible graphics got to me too much so I couldn't play for long. If they do make a new one though it should take place somewhere in Europe.. They've done all the popular cities in the U.S. that look as different as possible, as far as settings go.So how would you like them to do it? I personally would prefer it if they reverted back to the less realistic style found in GTA 3 through to San Andreas, if they added next-gen graphics to that I just think it would be brilliant. I felt a little let down by GTA 4 and felt it was carried hugely by hype to the point at which players were convinced it was the perfect game, and it was a triumph; however it just didn't feel entirely like a GTA to me, something was missing. What do you think?

Finally, someone else agrees with me! Why does ecch-box get all the survival horror games as an exclusive?? I also wanted to play Alan Wake..
this is actually already possible, I thought everybody knew about it. I mean it's not an official in-game feature or anything but I was playing with these guys the other day who could customize whatever gun they wanted (any scope on any gun, any ammo clip size, any color, any elemental effect) I thought at first that it was for the PC version only when I heard about it but this was all on the PS3.Maybe some areas could be randomized, like how it's done in Diablo. I'd also appreciate a higher level cap, like level 100. Of course, we need a larger variety of firearms. I want to see some ridiculosity, like a gun that's composed of several guns attached together, or a gun that will let you shoot mini-nukes. The ability to create or mod existing firearms would be sweet.

Super Mario Paint, Mario Kart, Paper Boy..I miss me some Paper Boy. I wish I could find a cheap SNES.
the simple answer is yes. however the question should be to develop a game where cheating is impossible online because doing it on your own in single player can still be fun to mess around with.
