Thanks for the replys guys - reinserting the batteries and blu-taching inside of cover to keep them down have fixed it. Thanks again - glad I don't need a new controller Aventura54The battery pack might be loose. My older controller would disconnect even with the slightest touch.

Hi guys
My 360 controller keeps disconnecting from my 360 and I have to hold the guide button to reconnect it every 5 or so minutes. I know its probably a battery problem, especially as I use non-rechargeable AA batteries at the moment, but my 360 says that the batteries are at least half-full. The problem doesn't happen on my other controller.
Anyone else have/had this problem as I don't want to find out its my controller - id much rather it be the batteries especially as im getting dome rechargeable packs for my controllers?
Thanks

You could also go here (system requirement labs excellent 'can you run it?' test). This tool will compare your computer specs with the minimum and recommened specs of the game for you. Its spyware/adware/virus etc free and can also test your computer for lots of other games. A very useful tool indeed.
Hope it helps

Is it worth downloading the ATI Catalyst Control Centre Front-end on windows 7?
When I installed Windows 7 on Friday it found all the drivers I needed - for my ethernet, creative x-fi extreme audio and ATI 4870. Not long after install it downloaded some updates, one of which was a more up to date driver for my GPU and the other was front-end software for my creative so i could control whether the X-fi crystaliser is on or not and such-like. What I want to know is: Is it worth getting the Catalyst Control Centre front-end for My Palit ATI 4870 1GB Sonic Dual Edition? I have the drivers - windows 7 downloaded and installed them for me and it all works fine.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Thankyou very much belboz! Thats helped a lot. Actual folder for anyone wanting to find it on vista as well is X:\Users\\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\Profiles\YOUR_PROFILE_HERE There is 3 files - config (normal settings), mp_config (multiplayer settings) and mpdata (multiplayer data) plus a folder called save which contains all your save files. Your screenshots are in modernwarfare\main\screenshots and your list of servers I guess is either in mpdata or in a file called servercache. Thankyou again for your help belboz and I hope this helps some other people struggling to find save data and what not for this game or others so they can install Windows 7 or just backup their data. Aventura54I guess it will be in X:\Users\\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me where the save files are for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the PC? I'm running Vista and I'm going to upgrade to windows 7 but I'm going to do a clean install as my system has a lot of junk on it. I would like to be able to back up my save games so I don't have to start from scrath on multiplayer.
Thanks in a advance for the help

Definitely soewhere in between. I enjoy my games, get competitive, go for glory or just relax and blast round a track or blast alien brains into pieces.
Depends on my mood etc

I'm getting it as well.[QUOTE="spazzx625"]It's apparently complaining about REMOVED WAS CAUSING HTML ERROR...Which seems really odd.psychobrew
Threat Name: Trojan.Vundo.B
Location: REMOVED WAS CAUSING HTML ERROR I had been getting strange pop-ups (porn) when clicking on outside links originating from the Gamespot forums a week or so ago as well. Is the site being targeted?
I don't have Norton..but im gonna get it. However on another computer I got that trojan through java (which it was designed to infect) and it makes looks go elsewhere and minor stuff like that. I think norton should adjust their safe web so it blocks you from that page only and only gives you red about links to that download and that download's page - does it do that now? Sorry if it does.If you are infected I think mcafee has a free vundo remover.

P.S Sorry for editing the quotes - wouldnt let me submit with the links in as was causing a HTML error that I couldn't work out.
