not now at least I have not seen a racing game on PS3 that looks as good as Moto GP 06 except maybe GT HD and I'm not saying that moto gp 06 doesn't looks realistic it's just not "photorealistic"
Sorry getsetgo but graphics in Moto GP 06 is nothing like "photorealistic" Have you ever watched a real GP I really doubt it. I can't tell you if it feels like racing a GP machine cuz' I've never done that but I watch it all the time and hate to break it to you but no the game looks nothing like the real thing bikes look good but leave a lot to be desired. Sure this game looks very pretty but not "photorealistic".
Hey getsetgo you sure hate PS3 don't you? I mean have you played it don't trust reviews. You just have to play it sure sometimes PS3 games are poor but others are o.k plus HD. Give developers some time and PS3 games will be very very nice bigger disk cap means better games this is a fact. Plus PS3 has some insane games like GT,MGS4,FF13,Tekken 6 sure halo 3 is nice but some of us don't like FPS games. I respect Xbox360 but PS3 feels better made and just a little bit more stylish.
I've got just one quastion for Xbox360 fans when PS2 came out with DVD did any of you say CD is better and we could do without it same thing with Blu-ray Disc vs DVD
I agree with yhaijeous this is a long race and xbox is not only the slower in top speed but it is already running out of fuel I mean to say what's up with DVD this two bad boys are supposed to be on sale for many years to come and 7GB vs 50GB that's just not gonna fly In a year or two we either have to buy 2 or 3 DVD sets or download half of the game from Xbox live.
I can't believe that somebody can be so sceptica about PS3 all of you who have Xbox360 and think it has same level of performance are just wrong I remember N64 with its tiny storage space and I have played the same games on PS and even though most of thouse games were small enough to fit into a cartridge the videos and sound made PS games much,much better same story with Xbox360 with its DVD vs PS3 Blu-ray Disc. So if you make the same game for both of them the Xbox360 version will have to do with no pre-rendered cutscenes poor audio no HDMI. As for games GT and Final Fantasy 13 what else would I say two of those are enough for me they will probably use PS3 hardware right so they'll look better than any Xbox360 game and they'll play better. As for Wii it's a garbage I think the only reason someone will buy on of those is they are really old and can't go for exercise.
Playstation is an amazing piece of hardware Cell Broadband Engine Blu-ray Disc Wi-Fi all of this is packed very nice into a very nice looking console(at least it's my personall opinion). If you go loolk at tech specs of PS3 and Xbox360 you'll see that Xbox360 has half the power of PS3 doesnt matter that RSX is based on G70 it can produce 74.8 billion shader operations per second which is almost twice as much sa Xbox360. Xenos is capel of which is 48 billion shader operations per second. As for the price PS3 is a cheap console for what it is. A standalone Blu-ray player can cost anything from 600$ to 1000$ so you get a nice bargain since Xbox360 HD DVD drive costs 200$ add this to the price of Core model and it's right ther with PS3 20GB model. Did any of you know that PS3 60GB model costs 840.35 to manufacture. Also PlayStation Network is free unlike Xbox Live and this is important especially in Russia and some other former soviet block countries and PS has always been popular in Russia. If you're like me and you've been playing scince early 90s PS3 comes with legacy titles from our childhood and a controller layout tested by time. As for Xbox360 a 300$ console already ran into hardware limitations we all heard a rumour about MGS4 coming to Xbox360 so it was later sad that the reason this could never be true as Xbox360 couldn't run Octocamo and Solid Eye System. In the end I would just like to say that Xbox360 is a nice console while PlayStation is a way of life
