there were some illegal L2 servers and L2 tried to have em shut down.... couldnt do anything about it though cuz there was nothing in the ToS about "You must play our games on our servers and pay our company a monthly fee". But theres no way anyone could host a WoW server without getting their but handed to them on a paper plate.

I mean I'm not trying to big th game up, but it will have like a million players, which seems crazy as it's so limited compared to other mmorpgs, but then thats the asian market for you (everyones gotta agree lineage 1 sucked, but still had over 2 million players cuz (predominantely) the koreans loved it so much.

It's got a job system pretty much the same as ragnaroks, (will probably be better than ragnaroks by retail).

But yeah, its wacky, zaney and above all immature but I guess they know who their target audience is.

Try Kingdom of Loathing ( if it hasn't been mentioned) It's totally free, and has a rather addicitive gameplay. It is very basic when you first see it, but once you get into it, wow. I've been playing for around 9 or so months, nearly everyday. The graphics...well. There are no graphics. Yay for stick figures! But seriously, don't let the rudimentrey graphics get you down, the game also has a great sense of humor. The community is HUGE, and nearly integral for a good gameplay experience. So umm, yeah. Because of some LONG awaited additions and changes to the gameplay, there is some lag, but not too bad for me, as using FIrefox does not give me the DNS error page. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.audiophilelarry

wrong thread and probably yes as there arent many decent rpgs out there. There are plenty of decent mmorpgs out there but GW is not a mmorpg

anyone been able to play gunz yet? i keep getting this crap that there's too many users. :(

has anyone tired the non-international (aka regional) version and encountered this problem? i really wanna play this thing. :D

well I have much more luck when I try logging on at about 11am GMT... cuz thats about 4 am in the US :P just keep pressing enter (not too fast though, wait for each error message) should only take a couple of minutes... most its taken me is about 5

you forgot one that i think you should add. Its called Gunz: The Duel, and its had be addicted for hours on end. Im normally not a fan of free MMORPG's but this one really is worth it. You are in a third person view(like max payne) and you lvl up by killing other players. After you level up you can get money, and you can buy armor and better guns. You can get in some pretty cool sword fights, and can really start racking in the exp. I would recommend this game to anyone. Now that the new patch is out the game has been running 1000 times better, so anyone who played prior to the patch should definetly give it another try.
