You must secure your copy of the game though... what if something crazy happens and he/she doesn't have to go to school for like a week and is stuck at home? I bet he'll beat one or maybe even two of them, then he will not be sorry he had the others ;)

I like the idea and dislike it at the same time. They could do a really great job and the games could be beautiful and well worth the investment but there is something wonderful to be said for the old original games. The graphics weren't the best but they did just fine ^^

At the same time I wonder if they are just trying to make a quick million or two in sales by remaking all the old games. But if they do a really good job of remaking them, like I said, it may be worth another run through the old stories again (if they keep the storylines the same that is and don't change things up).

Cloud is awesome and Cecil is a secondary character in FFVII. But anyways Cloud's character was great so were the other characters in FFVII, Cecil included, there are other characters in the FF series that definitely could have been more original. Like Vaan in FFXII, all the other characters in FFXII were well designed and written, and I loved them.

X-2 as well as it's characters were just plain fun, generally I love FF characters but you do come across the ones that just don't seem like they fit as well as others do in the story lines.

Yeah, but only FFX-2 and FFXII had good story lines...FFX was alright...but not good enough, everything else sucked so...
