So you have Mortal Combat getting almost naked women ripping of spines and that's ok (or whatever she does). Then you get a statue and everyone complains.

That's sounds right for Ubisoft - they seem to have a love affair with PS3.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 3, Far Cry 3, Halo 4, Uncharted 3, Batman 2 (Arkham City), Portal 2, Skyward Sword and Skyrim, much better than Heavy Rain (which was good but not great imo). All of them were sequels. Heck, this was just the last year alone. Until your original ideas can surpass the quality of the sequels out there, you don't have a leg to stand on.
