Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Sunday, March 17th, 2013:

Man, this week so far is getting expensive for me lol. I went to a video game shop and bought a used copy of the original Monster Hunter (PS2), Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift (PS2), and Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball 2 (XBOX 360). This Tuesday, I'm picking up two copies of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on 3DS for my brother and myself, and on Thursday I'm getting Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory on PS3! (^o^)/

Going To Japan

Monday, March 11th, 2013:

It's just as the title says: I'm going to Japan!! \(^o^)/ I booked my trip last week with my brother and a few friends of mine, and we're going for a couple of weeks in the beginning of May. It's the first time for me and my friends (except for one). We're staying in Tokyo, where we can just travel by subway around Tokyo and Akihabara. OH MAN, I'M SO EXCITED! Have you ever been to Japan? (^-^)/

Tokyo, Japan

On a separate note, I've been playing Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the Witch Witch again, and I'm trying to beat it right now. I've put in about 28 hours at the moment, and so far the adventure has been amazing. I bought Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk this week, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Hopefully soon though...

Fire Emblem: Awakening + Other Games

Monday February 4th, 2013

It's been a long time since I've posted on here, and it's not too late to post about a new game called Fire Emblem: Awakening! It's official release date is today, but I got the game a week earlier here in Canada from EB Games (I don't know exactly why but I'm not complaining). So far, the game is an amazing experience! Please check out my review here on GameSpot, I'm the very first person to review it!

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Oliver and Drippy

Other than that, I've also been playing Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, and that is also an amazing experience! So far, this year has been very good to Japanese roleplaying gamers, and I'm looking forward to more this year! What games have you been playing everyone? (^o^)/

Catching Up With Life And Games

Thursday, Oct. 25th/2012:

Hey everyone, sorry it's been a long time since I have posted here. I just been busy with life, although games are still a part of it (whew!). Since I graduated from university a few months ago, I've been looking for jobs and things like that. Anyways, you probably don't need to hear about my rambling. xD

Assassin's Creed 3

It's getting closer to the release of Assassin's Creed 3, and I'm really excited for it since it looks really promising, and seems like it will be the best one yet. Although I'm unsure whether I should get the collector's edition or just the regular copy. I'm a sucker for collector's editions. xD

Persona 4 Golden

In PlayStation Vita news, I'm planning on getting Ragnarok Odyssey and Persona 4 Golden when they are released in November, which is getting closer as well. Since I'm pre-ordering these games from EB Games, I'm also getting some bonus items as well. :D Will you be picking up any of these games?

Finally Finished University!

Thursday, Apr. 19th/2012:

Yesterday I wrote my last final exam of University, and now all I have to do is wait until June to graduate with my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology!! \(^o^)/ Man I'm excited! But do you know what I am most excited about? PLAYING VIDEO GAMES! I've neglected video games for too long now, so it's finally good to be back! Man, I have so many games that I bought this year that I haven't even played yet, so I should get started on them soon...

I watched my favourite hockey team, the New Jersey Devils play today and the Devils demolished the Florida Panthers 4-0! :D So I guess this picture is semi-relevant to what I'm talking about!

On another note, this weekend I'm going to an anime/video game/comic convention in Vancouver called Fan Expo Vancouver! :D I'm so stoked for it, and I've saved up some spending money for it especially! Do you guys go to anime/video game/comic conventions? :D

Little Busters! Converted Edition and Ragnarok Odyssey

Wednesday, Apr. 11th/2012:

Looking through the PS Vita homepage on GameSpot, I noticed that Ragnarok Odyssey and Little Busters! Converted Edition are among the top 10 games. Is this suggesting to us that both of these games will be released in North America?! I mean, I know for sure that Ragnarok Odyssey will be released here, but I'm really hoping that Little Busters! Converted Edition will make its way here!! Little Busters is getting an anime adaptation after the dating sims game in Japan turned out to be ver popular.

If both these games come out of Japan, will you be getting one of them or both? For me, I'm hoping to get both. :)

On another note, I probably shouldn't be procrastinating, but I can't help it...I'm still working on my research paper and presentation that is due tomorrow... TTATT This is the last week before I'm finally graduating!!

Mugen Souls

Tuesday, Apr. 10th/2012:

I just watched the GameSpot trailer for the upcoming game by Compile Heart called "Mugen Souls," a J-RPG set to release in North America in Fall 2012. From the looks of it, it is an over-the-top cutesy anime role-playing game. The characters are chibi-like characters and the environments look very artsy and interesting to say the least. This is most definitely a pre-order for me as I have reasonable expectations for this game!

Are you planning on getting this?

Happy 33rd Anniversary, Gundam!!

Saturday, Apr. 7th/2012:

Today, we celebrate the 33rd Anniversary of Gundam (aired April 7th, 1979)! Happy birthday, Gundam! Thanks for all the fond memories and exciting entertainment!! \(^o^)/

Life-sized Gundam

Pictured here is the life-sized Gundam built in Japan a few years ago to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Gundam! This goes to show how far Japan goes to showing appreciation for such an influential creation!

What series was your favourite? :D My top three are: Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam Wing, and Gundam Seed! (In that order!)

Pokemon Conquest

Thursday, Apr. 5th/2012:

I'm extremely happy that Pokemon Conquest (For Nintendo DS) is being released to North America!! I was looking at this game since it first came out in Japan. In Japan, they called it Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition, but the new name Pokemon Conquest sounds good too...Although, the name doesn't signify that it's Japanese feudal history, but oh well!

As I said earlier, the game takes place during Feudal Japan and you learn about the history of Japan through Pokemon! How cool is that?! The gameplay is very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, in fact I think it looks the same. Anyways,Pokemon Conquest is set to be released on June 18th!

Pokemon Conquest

It's been a long time since I really played my DS, so this is most definitely going to get me back in it! It's a good thing it'll be a few months away since I would not play it during the final two weeks of my last semester. xDAre you guys going to pick this up too? :D

Tales of Graces f, Yakuza: Dead Souls, and Assassin's Creed III

Tuesday, Mar. 13th/2012:

Today I picked up my pre-ordered copies of Tales of Graces f and Yakuza: Dead Souls from EB Games. It also came with pre-order bonuses of alternate costumes and weapons! :D I can't wait to play them, but it'll have to wait until after the semester... TTATT;; But thankfully I'll be graduating after this semester!! \(^o^)/ At the moment, I'm in class as I'm typing this blog up, so I don't have any photos of my games, so I'll just post these. xP

Yakuza Dead Souls

(Above) Yakuza: Dead Souls

I'm pretty excited to play this game as I loved the Yakuza series. Although it is just a spin-off, it's still worth getting a little more out of the Yakuza story. :)

Tales of Graces f

(Above) Tales of Graces f

I'm also excited to play Tales of Graces f, as this will be my first Tales game I've ever played. Hopefully it will give me a good welcome to the Tales series as I have heard very good things about it! (^o^)/

------------------------------

On a separate note, I also pre-ordered a copy of the supposedly final installment of Assassin's Creed that's going to be released this Fall 2012. I got a limited edition steel case for the game when it comes out, and it's pretty neat!
