After a first impression of the three recent games released by NIS America, I've decided to do a review based on my opinion of these games just because I find it necessary to do so. :P
Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland:
A very cutesy kind of game, it kind of lacks in an interesting plot line. The art is pretty good, and it's very laid back, but the game doesn't have give you an urge to try and place it.
Hyperdimension Neptunia:
A very fan-service kind of game for a big otaku, this game has characters that any otaku can have a preference for whether it's big or small breasts, a loud or clumsy attitude, and...Did I say breasts already? Oh, I did? Well, did I mention bouncing breasts?! xD
Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel:
This game shocked me actually. It's surprising quite good after a couple of letdowns. The storyline of this game sounds like it has depth. The characters aren't too stereotypical unlike Hyperdimension Neptunia, and the battles are very unique because you can run around the battlefield, and try to dodge attacks. What I don't really like about the game is the the character looks floaty and the environment looks too...Still. Other than that, the game is pretty good!
Out of the three games, I'd have to say that Ar Tonelico Qoga takes it in the bag.
