Off the top of my head I cant think of any console games that aren't confirmed for pc yet that I want except Gears 2. It would be nice to get Killzone 2 on pc but I know thats never going to happen.

As for console games I want alot sooner on pc the one that immediately comes to mind is mirros edge, cant believe they delayed it till january.  Theres probably a mountain more I'm forgetting though, like street fighter 4, resi 5, bionic commando. Fairly sure they're all delayed. Damn capcom.

My first was doom, I started gaming in 91 at the age of 5. Probably explains why I love shooters so much and why i'm so desensitized to violence. lol

Gears 2, Fable 2. If they both had pc versions I'd buy them instead.

Why on earth would someone choose a mediocre shooter like Resistance 2 over a brilliant masterpiece of innovation and uniqueness like little big planet? LBP I say.

Supreme Commander 2 is going to be a pc game designed for pcs just like the first, why on earth would a console gamer even want to play it?

The whole point of the game is to have a ridiculous amount of units on enormous maps, 2 things neither the 360 nor the ps3 are capable of running due to cpu and ram limitations. Any console version of the title would be severly dumbed down and 'less epic' compared to the real version just like the original is.

As for valve, they dont have ps3 devs, you cant make ps3 games without ps3 devs. As far as I know they 'plan' on working towards being able to make ps3 versions of there games themselves in the not to distant future so stop with the hate and have some damn patience.  This will probably cost them a significant amount of money by the way, what with training and staff hiring and possible studio expansion.

Making games for ps3 is still hard for alot of developers, especially those like gpg and valve who primarily focus on the pc market.
Whether you like it or not the 360 is and always will be easier to code for because -ALL- games are made on pcs with pc software and then coded for whatever consoles they are able to.  Just happens that the 360 is basically a pc on a hardware/coding level while ps3 is more of a mutant pc with a freaky alien cpu.

If you want to blame someone for the ps3 getting games later(or not at all) than the 360 and pc versions blame sony for making a stupidly over complicated machine and not giving developers enough resources to learn how to make games for the damn thing.

And for the record I own a high end pc and ps3 only. I use to own a 360 but thats another story.  That still doesn't change the fact that I think sony's design ideas for the ps3 were horribly misguided from the beginning and thats exactly why they've lost both 1st place in the console war and the millions and millions of dollars due to poor sales.

Ok I am dead serious when I say this so please dont think i'm just hating:

WoW will ruin your life, not just in one way but in many. For one you will become utterly obsessed with it. You will never want to stop playing after just a short period of time. You'd think this is a good thing but no its not. Your hygene plumets, your diet gets skrewed and your real social life can and will likely fall apart.

As far as gaming experiences go wow is hardly one worth being proud of. Sure every now and then a raid will be fun but you will have to do that exact same raid over and over and over for countless months on end. If you want to be accepted by a 'proper' raid guild you will likely be forced to play how you dont want to as most of these guilds obsess over archetypes. Roll a warrior, wanna be dps? well to bad they wont let you because the rogue in full epics is better.

The game forces grinding, nothing absolutely NOTHING of significance can be accomplished without an absurd level of grinding. Want a particular epic weapon? well your going to need to kill 3000 bears to get it, 3000 bears of the exact same type in the exact same place.

The games world, lore and story are indeed great. And nothing else comes close to it. The interface is perfect and despite running on an ancient game engine wow overall still looks great even when compared to the latest other games. That being said you cant ignore the above problems with the game. Its just not a game woth spending time with. Because one day it'll be 3am in the morning, your girlfriend will have left you and your probably going to be fired the following day.
The game destroys lives and blizzard has gotten discustingly rich of of this.

It is not a game, its a monster, a demon, an evil like no other. Avoid it at all costs I say. You'll be glad you did.

I have to agree with others, compared to other shooters whether out or up coming on pc gears 2 isn't such a big deal.
I would love to play it as the first was a good solid fun experience but not one that i'de cry over were it to never see a pc release. The game is afterall built from the ground up for the (as yahtzee croshaw puts it) console tards just like halo is so we're not exactly missing out on anything special. But then I'm not such a big fan of the 'stop and pop' genre anyway.

Run n gun is vastly more fun in my opnion. Balls to the wall high speed insanity ftw.

See thing is sony could easily release a patch for 40gb ps3s to allow ps2 games to all be playable via emulation(making the ps3 'pretend' to be a ps2) but they wont. Why? because ps2 is still selling and making crap tonnes of money. Why sell you one console when they can sell you 2? is basicly there logic.

Personally I think this is the worst burnout they've ever made. All I do is crash and fail, winning seems next to impossible in this game when 80% of the time you're exploding into firey death because of the slightest miscalculation while driving or hitting the 99.9% inevitablly inavaoidable traffic.
Not to mention the most ANNOYING voice over in a game ever, if that DJ a** was real i'de have beaten the living crap out of him by now. 'You know winners usually come first'. Grrrr

Remembering the citys layout is next to impossible, I have no idea how people can claim its so easy to remember. I am constantly having to check my map just so I know where I am. Not to mention while racing if you take a single wrong turn no matter how hard you try there is no chance at all of ever getting close to being more than last let alone first when every missed turn can potentially lead you down a road miles and miles off the optimal path. I loved these games when you were forced down specific tracks and the traffic was easily noticable and less freqent. I dont understand why the changed these things for the sole purpose of making the game 'look cooler'. It destoryed the franchise for me and if the next game uses the same idea I am not buying it.

I plan on picking up the ps3 version but I never did buy any of the ps2 games, I did however buy the pc version of gta3. It was a blast, at the time my old rig could barely run it though so eh.
I'm fairly certain my current pc could run gta4, it runs games like bioshock, unreal tournament 3, crysis etc really well on high settings. I'm so impatient though these days, and having barely played vice city or san andreas 4 is really the one i've been waiting for since playing 3. I might end up getting the pc version as well if the mod community and hackers manage to find new and cool ways of making the pc version -that- much better as they usually do.
