The PS3 doesn't have random access to material. When you web browse, it doesn't download cookies and there is no Limewire for you to accidentally get a MP3 file when its really a virus. Even when you browse adult sites, the PS3 cannot just download programs from the web or save Cookies and those viruses are all written for windows, thus not coded to harm the PS3.
