[QUOTE="Theokhoth"][QUOTE="BAHAHAHAHAHA"][QUOTE="Theokhoth"] Okay? Then the Muslims won't drink wine. Oh noes, ten percent of the religious population (which is extremely small in France) doesn't like alcohol; TEH CULTURE IS DOOMED

itt: deliberately missing the point. Large proportions of Muslims want Sharia law introduced. If they were happy to keep their irrational rules to themselves no one would have a problem.

"Large Proportions"? What's the percentage of French Muslims that want Sharia Law, and how influential is this percentage? How is the dislike of alcohol related? There's a "Large Proportion" of Christians that want Biblical Law introduced in the United States. So what? It's not going to happen just because people want it to.

I don't know precisely, but given that Sharia Law is considered by Muslims to be God's Law, I think we can safely say that an awful lot of Muslims are going to be quite fond of the idea of legally enshrining the revealed law of Allah, wouldn't you agree? I can't find figures for France, but in the UK 40% want sharia law (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1510866/Poll-reveals-40pc-of-Muslims-want-sharia-law-in-UK.html) and there's no reason to think that French Muslims are much less radical.

There is an inherent bias in America to show 9 times out of ten will put a bad or ciritcal or crazy **** happening story on Saudi. before they show any light of changes and the social struggles going on in the Saudi Arabia.SaudiFury
An incident like this makes for interesting news. Tame things like concerts being allowed do not. It's not bias, it's just sensationalism.

[QUOTE="CocoMarshmellow"] He couldn't handle having me around. It's pretty clear from what he said in his suicide thread.

What an odd way of euphemising 'he didn't like me'.

[QUOTE="BAHAHAHAHAHA"]Presumably because they don't like the site enough to care about the resulting suspension?rawsavon
there were some 20+ level users posting/spamming it up in there

Perhaps they're now too alienated to care.

[QUOTE="BAHAHAHAHAHA"][QUOTE="taj7575"]

I know they problems they have caused after they were elected, what I'm saying is how do you expect everyone to know that at the time, the people they democratically elected were going to be terrible?

taj7575

Because when Hamas were first democratically elected in 2006 they'd been doing so and claiming responsibility for it for over a decade. Why must I reiterate myself like this?

So you feel the people of Gaza went out and knowingly voted radicals in with knowledge that they were going to make Gaza strip a mess?

Yes, they went out and knowingly voted terrorists in as their government. As for whether they predicted the resulting fighting in the streets - I have no reason to believe that's the case.
