You're certianly not one of these educated ones. You bought a gaming case for crying out loud, pure gimmick, you'd be lucky if it didn't actually hinder airflow. Also do you actually think anyone cares what cooling system or sound system you use? You might as well have listed your DVD-ROM read/write speed. emaldon117, head my warning and eject from topix. Its going no where with these silly guys.[QUOTE="BBQSauceMan"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]
The "Elitist" PC fans are the ones who have some semblance of a clue as to what they're talking about with regards to PC hardware and performance.

Thanks but no thanks, I'm quite comfy knocking these guys around : )
Its your choice. However you should not be misleading by saying you ONLY need a good video card. You should NOT skimp out on the power supply else all your hardware is in danger. You won't get by with a single core CPU nowadays, but you won't need a very expensive one for gaming, unless you play one of the few games that have lots of raw number crunching. If you have a decent gaming video card, Nvidia 7 series is just barely holding on, you won't need serious components. Also having Vista will only force you to over do it on hardware, unfortunately you need it to have DX10 and over. Don't get too upset by the 'Elitist' PC fans here. They're the noobs who buy the new hardware when it comes out, thinking its what you need to do.The problem is, you don't need to run games in such high resolutions. Anyway you can get by with meh CPU and RAM if you have a good video card.

The only time the PC version is better is if its a Valve game. The rest of the PC ports are poorly optimized.
The real crime is how the Digital Download version of the PC game doesnt cost less than the retail version.
