Synopsis: In 2006 i fell in love with Destroy the runners perfect blend of MetalCore And Christian Elements in thier Debut Album Saints (my score: 9.2/10) Now Kyle Setter (lead vocals) is gone and the band now has Chad Ackerman to create a much more progressive sophmore effort that bears no resemblence to thier debut and thats fine with me.

The Band Abandons thier metalcore and goes for a more Experimental post hardcore sound I, Lucifer does distance itself from Saints in that there is a noticed reduction in the amount of screaming on the album, but due to the tight production, the sound has grown greatly. Chad Ackerman Leads the Songs With His Beautiful Angelic But haunting Voice. the music of the album is very well played and distinct the songs from each other (unlike thier previous effort). the lyrics are also very well written and gives u the idea that a sad story is being played in front of you. i almost cryed at times due to how beautiful some of the songs are my personal favorites are Bag Of Marbles, On Falling Leaf, A Mountain Of So Big A Question So Small.

Overall I do miss the old destroy the runner but this new destroy the runner is very original and are beautiful song writers and i love them already. i recommend this for any fan looking for somethin new to listen to because this album will get Destroy The Runner Famous!
