My TV actually will display 1080p through the component cables. HDMI is better, but it's not night and day. I'm using component at 1080p and optical for audio and it does the trick for right now. If an HDMI 360 comes out, I'll probably just take mine back and say it's broke to get a credit towards a new one.

I'm very upset some game developers have decided to cross platform Windows and Xbox 360 games.  Cheating and mods were the reason I left the PC for the original Xbox.  Now we're going to have the exact same problem.  Believe me, games like Shadowrun will be ruined within 1 month of release from hacks being developed.  Does anyone else share this feeling with me?

You can get a wireless bridge, or get the official MS one on eBay. I got mine for $60 with shipping. Not bad b/c a bridge is going to run you $40-60.

Check your local Target.  They have marked down the game to $4.98.  If it's not marked, bring it to one of the price checking stations and check it out.  I got one is SC, and my friends got one in NC and OH.

Since I got a Wii and didn't have a GC, I'm trying to pickup some of the games I wanted to play.  Just figured I'd give you all the FYI.

I've got the full game. The graphics are no different from the demo as far as I can see. Overall though, I think it's the little things they've done that make this game much more polished. I know some MVP people will never make the transition, but I've played through 2 full games and am really enjoying it.

Awesome game. As a long time MVP fan, it took Kush 2 years to catch up, but they finally did. Great gameplay, fielding works well, camera angles are good. BTW, if you don't like the stick, just use the A button.

If you don't feel like using the stick, change it to the A button. Problem solved.

I got Ridge Racer 6 for $13. I'm really enjoying it. It provides a great deal of challenge if you're into racing games. There seems to be a lot of good stuff coming to XBL Arcade, plus the R6 Vegas pack (if you own that game), so that's not a bad choice either.

So far so good. I've only played it once, but from a visual standpoint, it's leaps and bounds above 2k6. Also, the fielding seems a lot more fluid. It's nice to know you can play ranked 9 inning games as well (it's in the achievements). I'm going to play it through a few more times, read some reviews, but I'll probably pick it up today or tomorrow.
