I just feel like I need to rant a bit right now. :) I don't understand why people can't just admit that all consoles have strengths and faults. I mean, sure, I have a PS3 and I love it, but I don't go around bashing the 360 or calling somebody stupid just because they have one. For example, yeah the PS3 is more advanced hardware wise, but the 360 has more people playing it so you have a better online community. I don't get what is so hard for some people to admit about that. To qoute Yahtzee from his mailbag showdown episode of ZP, "I've never really understood the almost crusader-like fervor that consoles attract." I never really see many Wii crusaders either. Well, I've just been reading the various stories about the new PS3 design. To be honest, I don't really like the matte black plastic look. It looks great on the PS2, but for some reason just looks odd on the PS3. I also liked the touch non-buttons, so I'm kind of sad to see them go. I think it's very exciting that Sony has decided to do this, though. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft will react to the whole price drop thing. I've always been on Sony's side in this whole thing ever since I won (yes, won at family fun day from a raffle drawing) my original PlayStation when I was in kindergarten. That is what turned me into a gamer. So kudos, Sony. Well played. Your move, Microsoft and Nintendo.
