are you sure youre not talking about the stripclub that recently opened in bergen, hordaland? its sure gotten a lot of attention in the local newspaper.. many protestors etc.. escapeoftheape

I'm talking about Hoooters, butAnything like that gets alot of fuzz around it. I think it's the conservatives causing the most of the debate.... Has KrF joined the debate?

None in my country but going by this thread, it's a restaurant where women discriminate against themselves by using their sex appeal to get away with overcharging for crappy food?Gallion-Beast

Well Said. I realize now that this debate is quite worthless.

And if the choice is between better food or waitresses in mini skirts..... Sorry, I prefer droooling over a good meal raiter than the waitresses serving me it.

Sometime ago i read an article about the Amarican restaurantchain Hooters is expanding into Norway, starting with one restaurant some where in rogaland.I personally did not pay it any mind (I don't eat out that much, and if i do, It's usually Italian or Taiwan food, besides; i Just wanted to skip to the comics.)

Howewer this created quitea fuzz. Apparently guests at Hooters are served by attractive, scantily-clad female waitresses. This created quite a large debate on how Hooters was discriminating Women, reducing them to sex objects, etc. Local politicians wanted to ban it and there were quite a dabate inthe Newspapers comments sections.

I was neutral in this case and i also know little about Hooters in general, but i wanted to hear a little thougths from you who have expirienced Hooters as apparently it's fairly big in the U.S.

Is it in anyway discriminating women? Is this worth the debate? Would you recommend going there? And most importanly!: How good is the food they offer!?

It takes alot to get me angry, but when i do get angry, it's not in the rage kind of way. I kind of get in an irritated mood, showing sligth signs of frustration, that's about it.

We have, probably, the worlds best "water cleaning facilities(?)" and they're nationwide, so we can safely drink city water, and it tastes just like bottle water.

If so, he atleast has well written, well informed posts while trying not to directly offend the counter-part. Something i can tell alot of people on SW does not have.

My all time favorite is a comicnamed "Pondus": Consists of ultra-norwegian humour, premier league jokes, beer, a bus driver/bartender, AC/DC /Kiss, poker, a guy cheating on social security and ugly women.

The humour is more sophisticated than it sounds like ;)

Howewer if i have to pick one from the list i have to go for Calvin and Hobbes. Nothing beats it in terms of sophisticated humour, fantasy, philosofical questions and pure fun.

Um... pretty old i'd say.

Oh have you noticed that it sort of remind you of a childish argument?

"Ur mr gay!"

"Well ur mr gay 2!"

I will newer find out if anything of this is intentional...
