Yeah this is definately familiar... it's the fans man. When this happened to me, I got my PC prefessionally cleaned (only costs 30 dollars) and no I am having no problems.

Before I got my PC Cleaned the PC shut down every hour or 2 of gaming. Then it got worse and shut down every hour just from being idle.

My advice get it cleaned by geek-squad it only costs 30 dollars.

If you do it youself, you could damage something.
