Is it still worth getting gears of war? Does anyone still play this game, or is it abandoned and forgotten because of GOW2? By the way, I can borrrow CD's pf pc version, but my PC is too old to get "fun" of games. Oh and please help me decide which one to get: Mass Effect or Oblivion, or take both?

Where I live, PS3 costs 683USD, and xbox360 costs 427USD, pretty big difference though. So I want PS3, but my parents seem to like xbox360 for it's price, I don't like it because of the games, and other stuff, but that's not the point. Help me to convince them why PS3 is better choise. Maybe you had same problem? :)
