I feel very very sad after playing GTA IV and knowing that Gamespot wasted a 10 rating on that game.. Why gamespot.. Why?! It will be years before we see another 10 from gamespot and im sorry but GTA IV SO did not deserve a 10 whatsoever.. I dont know what it is, im 23 years old and i remember back several years ago GTA 3 and Vice city where my 2 favorite games of all time but GTA IV just doesnt do it for me anymore.. One good thing did come out of GTA IV though, it really made me appreciate such great games such as COD4,Halo 3 and Gears of War.. those 3 games which by the way ACTUALLY DESERVE a 10!!! Im sorry, but GTA IV just didnt cut it for me, i loved it the first couple of days but it got boring very fast..

first off the Multiplayer feels boring and unbalanced and just overall cheap and requires no skill, the controls for the vehicles are terrible and the script feels like it was written by a 10 year old.. :::sigh:: no worries, Vice city atleast still holds the Best GTA game prize.. So sad gamespot had to waste a 10 on GTA IV!!

So what kind of satisfaction did you get out of your post? Im not trolling im just curious. I rly wanna see the point of all this. Maybe i can get into these kind of arguments and ''bragging rights'' myself.

Because my initial reason for buying my consoles were so i can play each of their exclusives respectively not to contribute to their sales. I dont work for them. Or do I?I dont know. I might have missed the memo saying i was the senior executive of the sales department. Could have easily been a breakdown in communication. Hmm, if thats the case im owed millions in unpaid checks.

Anybody else think this game is no more than a 9.0? i think its either that or below that.

Give me a legitimate reason why your questioning the rating of a game that hasnt even been rated for one because itll only be released in less then a month?

Here are some undeniable facts:

- Killzone 1 got a 6.9 from Gamespot. This is not a good franchise to begin with.

- Killzone 2 was pushed back to 2009 to "make room for the competition, including Gears of War." (http://www.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?board_id=314159282&topic_id=26378215)

Why would Sony do this if this game was amazing? They wouldn't. They would launch it in the middle of the holiday season and try to do as much damage as possible. Instead they're running scared. Not a good sign.

The Killzone trailer looks HORRIBLE to me. Absolutely no comparison - but you decide for yourself.

Nice track record! Two flops and one low-end AA title.

This is pretty compelling evidence to believe KZ2 is going to s**k. Is there any evidence to the contrary? Seems like all hype to me.

PS3 has just had it's biggest release, the cross platform GTA game. This is likely to be the biggest release for the platform this year, and possibly in its lifetime. Until GTA 5? which will release for PS3/720, who knows it's so far away. It is extremely unlikely that MGS4 FFX will beat GTA, which pretty much WAS the one of the franchises that help made PS2. Looking forward Killzone2 Delayed again...who's really gonna care about this anymore? Killzone 1 sucked anyway. It has NO chance of selling anything like GTA Little Big Planet. Looks like a cool/fun/casual game that can draw some ppl in, again nothing compared to GTA. Whichever way you look at, GTA 4, was the PS3 "Halo 3", if you like, the only difference being it sold probably as much on it's competing platform! Granted I bet it help sell more PS3 than 360; it's not enough. PS3 sales are likely to plataue, and then drop following the GTA release, and may have a few spikes for the above mentioned games. Meanwhile the 360 will grind on with GoW2, Fable 2, Halo Wars etc etc, nothing spectacular but with a few spikes for those games. Face it, its over, PS3 is not gonna dominate this gen, and may even come in slightly behind the 360 when alls said and done. Sony has blown it big time. With their amazing strong brand, they are possibly going to come in thrid place, and even if they just pip the 360 to second place by 2010, it won't be by much, hardly an endorsement of what Sony has done with its PS3 brand.hywel69

First and foremost, I am looking forward to MGS 4, and it looks like one of the best games of 2008. With that said, some of the fans of this game are ridiculous! If anyone says a SINGLE negative thing about the game, a raid of rabid fanboys are immediately alerted of this, where they say that it's the most amazing experience ever (when they have yet to play it). For that reason alone, I hope to see this game get teh 8.5 of fail to see the damage control.tmatte

Let me tell why your not looking forward to mgs 4 and why you dont think that it will be one of the best games of 08. First of how could you be excited to play a game that is only going to be released in a month and hope that it flops just so the fans of this game could feel stupid for hyping it up? That just doesnt make any sense. At all. If your looking forward to a game you should hope that it doesnt fail so itll meet your expectations. So how could you be looking forward to a game that you hope flops? If you really did like the game or the mgs series you wouldnt care what the fans are saying about the game because your playing a game for your enjoyment not for anyone else. Yeah thats what i thought i just wanted to make sure what other people thought. Ive been playing the game for days and for some strange reason his ethnicity has been really bugging me , i was curious so find out what it was lol. I know that hes eastern european but exactly what kind i didnt know. I just for the heck of it pretend hes russian.
