you can use the ENB series mod to make it look slightly less bland.

Yah I am curious to know which looks better because TW2 is one of the best looking games ever not just out of RPGs.

I know for 100% certainty that no console game from this gen could ever come close to it.

I didn't know this until a few days ago but Geralt is over 100 years old in The Witcher 2.

You know the game development budgets only really increased due to things like licensing music and voice actors.

Also they spend enormous amounts on advertising games.

If done right budgets for games can be rather cheap when compared to most big name games.

The Witcher 2 only had a budget of around 8 million yet CDPR used it to not only create the game but also to build a whole new game engine.

So I think the developers and publishers have to learn how to create better budgets.

It won't cost more to make games for next gen if they do this.

looks great even with igns crappy video quality, imagine how it will look on screen. :)

i like the fact it has lots of foliage aswell.

Yah I tried tinkering with the video and I couldn't get much difference in quality when uploading it to youtube.

This is not only one of the best looking RPGs but also one of the best looking games overall.

Also the guys voice in the trailer is kind of creepy at times like when he whispers the word "world".

I decided to upload the video myself to youtube to see how good a quality I can get which isn't much better since the original video quality wasn't good to begin with.

It's slightly better quality than youtube and even IGN's site.

Plus the actual picture quality of the average lcd blows away most crt's. 4:3 is a thing of the past and most people with those monitors dont have the specs to run the game anyway.Cranler

I still have an old CRT monitor but I mainly use it as a second monitor to view hardware info while I am running games.

It has great picture quality still.
