Since I can't afford to buy new games, the only way for me to improve my gamer score is to earn achievement points for games I already have, in particular XBLA games. That being said, most of my XBLA games are from the 1st few batches of XBLA games, you know when the achievement points were freaking hard to earn, which is whay I didn't have them in the first place.
1 game that really pissed me off is Hexic HD. It really is a terrible game, but I want the achievement points, this game is both crap and hard, which isn't a good combination, I set out to earn 2 achievements, collect 1m points across all games, and complete 100 games, they were easy enough to get, but goddamn they take freaking ages. I can't believe this is from the same guy who made Tetris, what the hell was he thinking making this monstrosity. Good news though, I managed to get 4 achievements out of it, which gives a total of 9 (since I already had 5 to begin with). Theres 3 achievements left, but I don't wanna put myself through that again.
So next a wanna tackle Marble Blast Ultra. This game is pretty decent, but it get pretty boring pretty quickly, but atleast its bearable.
After that, its back to Battlefield 2: MC. Most of the achievements I have to get in this game are online achievements. I don't mind that so much, but why they hell did they have to make them so hard, I mean "Kill 10 people, without dying". How are supposed to do that, people tend to shoot back, plus everytime you kill someone it gives away your current position, which means you have to move, and most likely get killed along the way. The only way I can think of to get those achievements is by way of the cheeky, but I don't know enough people with the game to do that.
I really don't mind hard achievements, Infact its good they make you work for your points. I just hate achievements that are so ridiculously hard that they're not worth bothering with. Or the ones that just take absolutely forever to unlock. Surely the people who make these games must be aware that gamers aren't known for out patience
