For last few days I haven't been able to view certain websites, GameSpot included. For some reason my computer would view some websites but not others. After a few days of fiddling around with various options it seems to be ok now.... for now at least

I got Sid Meiers Civilization IV in the post a few days ago. It's only today I got a chance to play it. I played through the tutorial and then some of the main game and even though I haven't done anything major in the game I could feel the addiction coming over me. The "Just one more" voice was in the back of my head. I managed to teer myself away from it and I figured in order to avoid complete addiction I won't play it again at least until tomorrow.

My web site is finally ready. By that I mean, it's ready for other people to see it, there may still be some changes and additions made, but for now I happy with it.

It turns out this is quite a popular subject so I'll write this for anyone who is interested.

my username here was bandithaze. However when I play online games I use a capital B and H, so that it is BanditHaze, Bandit_Haze or Bandit Haze if they allow spaces.

When I heard about gamecenter and all its features I wanted to join, but I didn't want to join with lowercase letters, so the first thing I did was ask Gamespot to make the change, and they said no. At that point I thought 'Screw it, its just a username' so I tried to join gamecenter anyway.. but I couldn't, it wouldn't accept 'N/A Outside US and Canada' as the state

So after some days I decided that the best way round this is to delete my account and start all over again. so I did. I deleted bandithaze, and started a new one with BanditHaze, but that caused problems, so I deleted that and started Bandit_Haze. When I started the new account I made sure that the state entries were correct from the beginning, which is something I didn't do with bandithaze.

And it worked, I was able to join Gamespot complete and Gamecenter. Once I got into Gamecenter one of the things I realised is that it allows you have different display names, (3 per game) so this whole thing could have been avoided..

..but oh well, its done now, and at least I got my capital B and H
