Its a ****ing first person shooter how can it be any different than MW2? Personally I think this game is awesome. Apparently recoil is back, and stoppling power and jugg are out. Which means gameplay will be more balanced. Plus I'm looking forward to these wager matches. Thanks for pointing out the obvious I had no clue it was a FPS!!! My major problems with the franchise are as follows. Glitchfest that they don't ever seem to get right and when they do it takes weeks or even months to address. Server issue's lag and disconnects when ever the game launches that take weeks to fix. Unbalanced perks and Killstreaks that ruin the game. And who really cares about wager mode been their done that. I hope Treyarch gets it right but after all were talking about COD so I have a feeling the game will still be screwed no matter what.
You honestly cannot complain about the laggy servers at launch. Yes, they suck, but what can you expect when the load on the servers jumps from a couple thousand to multiple millions?! I don't care what game you are talking about, it's going to take awhile to figure out what needs to be done to ease server stress. Also, the "glitchfest" was really only present in MW2. Most of the glitches in the previous games were fixed quickly and efficiently.
I've seen the PVR in action and it looks great but I think you need a direct connection to a laptop... which i also don't have. As far as the Pinnacle.... does that capture onto an internal memory or does that need to be attached to a comp/laptop as well? How about your Tuner PCMI card?
I've been looking for a good capture card for some time now but i cannot find one!!! I've been looking for one that records onto a USB or other harddrive rather than onto a laptop... Anyone have some good suggestions for a capture card that can take footage off a ps3 and store it on itself?
I was wondering what happened to the arc angel missles but i found a video of them... They are actually called Valkyrie Missles. I've also heard that killstreak reward kills won't count towards more killstreaks. is this true?
Far Cry 2 wasn't bad... but i still have nightmares about running through the wilderness and then hearing the engine of one of the many patrols revving up to ram me in the back *shudders*
yeah this definitely seems like you are trying to start a war here because you are bragging about the kinect so much. I personally think the move looks awesome. Really precise movement and more than just 2 players. Plus, shooters are not gonna work with Kinect and i love shooters, especially Time Crisis (at least the arcade ones :D ). Hopefully they can make it feel like those.
I saw a video of someone using a mortar team and it looked just like an airstrike except for the fact that you get to place 3 seperate dots where you want each mortar to hit. I also saw a chopper gunner and it looked a lot more sluggish than the one from MW2... that'll help a lot so you don't get utterly dominated when one comes in. The RC car was a bit buggy in gameplay, but they will fix that im sure. I think you can shoot the RC car, so that may explain why it's so low... it's just so easy to avoid, haha
Easily Burnout Paradise, i loaded so many into that game just screwing around. Besides that.... Fallout 3 probs. oh and can't forget COD4.... 8 days worth :/
I heard the engine they are using is the one from COD4 and WAW, so we know it won't be just like MW2. The gameplay vids by Hutch and Seananners on youtube also show a lot of stuff. First, recoil is back with a vengeance, thank god. Secondly, the health looks like more than MW2, back to the COD4 level or so, rather than the 2 shot kills with SMGs and stuff. The kill streaks look awesome, and they took away game-enders... chopper gunner is still there, but Hutch said that he got one and it was way slower and less overpowered. In my opinion, this new stuff all looked awesome. Yes they have included noob tubes again, but the range of them looked horrendus in the video, so that helps... Everyone is freaking out here. Let's remember this is Treyarch, not IW.
