hahha, i love how it says Playstation 3 on the side, and then in the lower left corner, Microsoft!!! Didn't think i'd see those 2 names together anytime soon. I'm surprised the poster didn't start on fire, hahah

ok, i haven't heard this one before. I think you could, but there might be a few strings attached. (or wires, lol) You could put the save files on the EXT HD, but i'm not sure the system would automatically search it for saves... for sure, you could not put actual games on the EXT HD, (like PSN titles) cuz the PS3 engines can't access them. You are better off just getting a 500gb INT HD and saving everything right on there. At least, you are guaranteed that will work. Although, i recommend you back up your save data onto the EXT HD every month or so, because new hard drives don't seem to be as stellar as the one that comes with the PS3, but by all means, upgrade, it's very nice
I agree that Gran Turismo 5 is gonna be huge, but I also think that games like Alpha Protocol are going to draw the RPG fans (I'm one of them). Another thing that the PS3 has that isn't a game, but is still a huge buy factor is the blu-ray capability and the fact that you can use your PS3 as your central media hub, music, movies, games, web-browsing... all that,in one package. So, that's a huge draw...
Odds are it's an off-brand like Niko or Pelican... I would def take it for 5 bucks, just make sure it works first. Anything more than 5... i don't know. I've had very bad experiences with off-brand controllers, (esp on the PS2) and if it's a matter of saving ten bucks, you'll prob want to go with a much more reliable official controller
I like lakes i think id forget Kansas or Arizona before Minnesota[QUOTE="Basher9"]
Yeah, i could see NY having a better connection. Im pretty sure people would forget to name Minnesota if asked to name all 50... what do we have? 10,000 lakes, whoop-de-freaking-da.
YES, and no stupid updates where you get essentially nothing

yeah, inFamous has a really good length and fun demo. Battlefield BC was pretty good too. it used to have online but i haven't played it in like a year so don't quote me on that. Fatal Inertia isn't half bad if that's the kind of game you like...
yeah, try using the yellow-red-white cables to see if anything is coming through. It may be your HDMI cable... you're not running your audio seperately through an optical cable, are you? Because then it's almost for sure your HDMI cable
