Are Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Kirby, Pokémon, Donkey Kong, StarTropics, StarFox, PilotWings, Golden Sun, Punch-Out, Excitebike, Wii, Pikmin, F-Zero, Advance Wars, Super Smash Brothers, Mother, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi, TopGun, Animal Crossing, and more not enough?

Jesus H... The responses to this thread make even a forum lurker want to post. I'll keep this short and simple for the simple-minded:

The topic creator is not calling Nintendo in itself a bad company, which is what seems to bring the aggressive, rabid Nin-fanboys to foam at the mouths. He is saying titles like Mario and Zelda, while good, lack the attempted efforts of innovation and originality that a company should be making. Instead, the fanboys take the small citing of criticism personally and go Nin-jihad just because their company wasn't called perfect. Even for system wars, you fanboys made yourselves look like bigoted idiots. Quit blindly waving the Ninten-flag and get your heads out of your asses.

That said, I believe their flagship series should continue on with their good games, but I'd like to see Nintendo actually come up with a new game, with a new character.
