You know how in movies you laugh when a person dies but you get upset when an animal dies? It's like that. Say whaaaaat?? Once its a movie I really wouldn't give a damn about dog or human dying...... unless its a really well done scene that brings out the girl in a man. I should have rephrased that. I only really get upset when a dog or good written character dies. It's because I grew up with dogs my whole life.

Forgive me but I laughed at the thread title. I could understand them shooting one dog but not both, I love how you sensationalised the OP though. It was pretty much a case of excessive force, but no one got hurt but a bunch of dogs.

Why compare them? "Oh man this dog was killed, but oh wait someone died earlier so I really have no feelings for the dog" Each is a tragedy.
I don't see the dogs dying as a tragedy at all. I'm more worried about the traumatized kid. It seems though that OT value the lives of animals over the lives of humans.
