Killer Instinct

Deevoshun

Exactly! Killer Instinct is way better than any PS4 launch title! And so is Project Spark!

PS4 has no good games lined up for launch, and THAT is the main reason people are buying Xbox One.

It's all about the GAMES!

I'm not giving much thought to either launch library. What's crazy to me though is how both Lems and Cows obsess over them like these games mean anything. Its like there is nobody but kids posting and this is their very first launch. Last gens launch games sucked as did the ones a gen before with the exception of Halo CE and done of the Dreamcast library. Good games don't come out at launch. They don't even come out the following two spring quarters. There is no point investing that kind of money into games that will not sell because there is not yet a userbase to sell to. The PS2 didnt see a good game until 3rd quarter 2001 with only two more following for the fourth quarter.Murderstyle75

Not true at all.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee was a launch title for the original Xbox and it was an AWESOME game!! Killer Instinct will no doubt be an AWESOME launch title on the Xbox One.

Basically the game is built from the ground up using Azure, The Cloud, for AI, physics, the Map, environments and the like..  which is owned by MS. So in other words, you will never see this game on Ps4...  and the game will offer more complex AI, physics, worlds, and matchmaking than anything we've ever seen before because it's all being handled by azure.

This is why the press was so blown away at E3. It will truly help gaming to the next level.

By Kevin ParrishJuly 7, 2013 4:00 PM- Source: Respawn Entertainment

"The Xbox group came back to us with a way for us to run all of these Titanfall dedicated servers and that lets us push games with more server CPU and higher bandwidth, which lets us have a bigger world, more physics, lots of AI, and potentially a lot more than that!" he said.

Microsoft has its own cloud computing platform and infrastructure called Windows Azure, launched in February 2010 and created for building, deploying and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-owned data centers. It provides both platform as a service (PaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) services, and Microsoft realized it could also power its gaming network as well.

"So they built this powerful system to let us create all sorts of tasks that they will run for us, and it can scale up and down automatically as players come and go," he said. "We can upload new programs for them to run and they handle the deployment for us. And theyll host our game servers for other platforms, too! Titanfall uses the Xbox Live Cloud to run dedicated servers for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360."

"But its not just for dedicated servers Microsoft thought about our problem in a bigger way. Developers arent going to just want dedicated servers theyll have all kinds of features that need a server to do some kind of work to make games better," he continued. "Look at Forza 5, which studies your driving style in order to create custom AI that behaves like you do. Thats totally different from what Titanfall uses it for, and it's really cool! So it's not accurate to say that the Xbox Live Cloud is simply a system for running dedicated servers it can do a lot more than that."

It's an interesting read, and certainly builds up anticipation for Titanfall, the potential of Xbox One, and what Xbox Live Cloud could do for PC gamers as well.

Well I guess that about sums it up. It seems that the Xbox One is the more capable console. However, I think the PS4 will eventually also have good exclusives.

[QUOTE="EG101"]

[QUOTE="silversix_"]"slightly" haha 50% is slightly now? PS4 has better games and much more powerful hardware. xboxiphoneps3

So according to you the 4 DME's and ES RAM that Xbox ONE has and PS4 does NOT have will have ZERO effect on game performance. That is why MS brought in Top engineers from IBM and AMD to work on their chip. You believe that these engineers are stupid and decided to waste silicon on the XboxOne motherboard for NO good reason. well I guess we'll just have to sit back and see how it shakes out. So Far every DEV that has commented on PS4 and One have said they are comparable.

Thats why games on Xbox ONE to this point not only look better than PS4 games but are currently running better even though Sony's games are further in the development cycle. Go ahead and make assumptions about technology you have zero clue about. Xbox One currently has a much better game line up than PS4.

You can go ahead and stick your head in the sand and PRETEND like PS4 has better games and hardware but so far nothing Sony has shown has proven this. It might very well end up true but until games actually start showing this its all hypothetical.

first of all data move engines do absolutely nothing for performance so stop acting like you know what your talking about.

The ESram doesnt do much because the xbone gpu has less hardware, 6 less CU's, 16 less ROPS, less TMU's, less ACES,

fewer CPU cores available for games

less ram available for games

no on board ARM SoC to deal with background stuff

The Sorcerer real tech demo running in real time on a PS4 blows every single thing out the water that Xbox One had to show graphically

Infamous graphics are better then anything shown at Xbox E3 by a long shot, Xbox One GPU has 12 CU's, 16 ROPS while the PS4 has 18 CU's and 32 ROPS along with a onboard ARM SoC, which the Xbox One doesnt have the ps4 also has more ram available for games then the Xbox One... stop being delusional, nothing showed at Xbox e3 looked graphically impressive at all, not even pre baked lighting, poor physics, static backgrounds Forza 5. lemms are butthurt they got the weakest next gen console bahahahaha

Sorry, but your post is wrong. 4 DMEs and ES RAM, on the Xbox One, matters a lot. It can bridge the supposed gap between the Xbox One and PS4. Also, the Xbox One has much better DirectX support and that can make a big difference in games too. Most likely, graphics will be extremely similar on both consoles to the point of being indistinguishable.

So far Xbox One has the better lineup of games, and quality of games is what matters most. Things could change over time, but for now this is how it stands.

Who agrees?

Currently, Xbox One has a stronger line up of games, but PS4 may get good games in the near future. Therefore, I would suggest the Xbox One. It's the quality of games that matters most. A slight difference in hardware doesn't really matter.

As of right now, there is no denying that Xbox One's game lineup is stronger than PS4's game lineup. However, PS4 will probably get some good games eventually.

lostrib

There is plenty of denying

Yeah, that's the unfortunate part. Some people just don't want to admit that Xbox One has a stronger game lineup. They just talk about the PS4's slightly higher specs, and forget that it's the GAMES that matter.
