@frank_78 People have been washing up on that island for centuries, and a lot of the people on the island have probably been there since they were in their 20s or so, given that all have beards. xD

@commuter1991 Crystal Dynamics developed this TR game, silly fool. They were the ones who crafted the game, Square Enix published it.

@miker00lz Bored.

Ship gets wrecked on an island and Lara gets impaled within minutes of the opening, and you're "bored to tears?"

What do your normally play, COD?!

@sinatra666 Have you played one second of BioShock: Infinite? I've played both the new Tomb Raider and BioShock: Infinite. They're entirely different games, but they're superior in different categories to each other. There's a reason people praise BioShock: Infinite, and for the most part, I agree that it is a contestant for GOTY. Then again, so is Tomb Raider. But at least play BioShock: Infinite before you call it, "pretty overrated."

I played this game when I was a kid - it was bundled with the Sega Genesis - and I have no idea why, but I loved it. The simplicity of controlling a dolphin through the sea was just awesome to me back then.

But hate to say it, Ecco ain't gonna make it in today's gaming market.

@Fo_Fai Sounds like a personal problem. That's what happens when you don't publish these articles and work for them.

Why are people railing on Square Enix for having high expectations? Isn't it a GOOD thing that they want their games (obviously Crystal D developed this particular game) to sell well? Tomb Raider sold well, regardless of what Square Enix says, but I also think it's good to have high expectations in order to deliver higher-quality games. For specific genres, I mean.

Don't even get me started on COD. Quality went out the window back in 2007 with that series. -_-

@McGregor @Bayonetta2013 I'm talking about many gamers raving over PS4's graphics, graphics in Destiny, graphics on the X720, graphics this-that... When I say good quality games, I want to hear how it will stand out from the crowd, bar graphics. Graphics are a factor to some degree, but you can have a game with great, shiny graphics yet have absolutely crap gameplay. Solid, tight mechanics will sell a game for me.

Screenshots are often a lot more than just a visual, or so I think. I'm usually inspecting minute details in screenshots like a person, sign, yada yada (depends on the game, really), and not the graphics considering it's usually not the final product anyway.

@hinedorf To you. There's that thing called "preference." I adore my PS3 exclusives, but I also adore the indie games stashed away on the Xbox.
