great game tonight

i wouldnt take too much out of this game though. celtics looked bad tonight, gimpy rondo and no center, they were lucky to steal that game.

but to be fair, knicks looked awesome.

How quickly Lakers fans forget. Just a few years ago you guys were using those same excuses with Bynum.

the pats defense is iffy, i think statistically its the worst defense in franchise history (heard on the radio, could be wrong)

but you couldnt tell when your watching, yes they give up a TON of yards, but they ALWAYS make timely stops and force turnovers.

Though theres no way in hell i would feel good about them doing that against a team like the falcons or saints

but looking at the season, and seeing who they've beaten, theres no way the pats arnt the number 1 team in the league right now.

7 yr / $126 million for Jayson Werth? A guy who is already on the wrong side of 30? A "power hitter" with only three 20 HR seasons, one 100 R season, and zero 100 RBI seasons? Scott Boras is the greatest negotiator on the planet. The next time they host Middle East peace talks, they should invite Boras to preside.

Oleg_Huzwog

did boras even have to negotiate that deal?

i feel like the nationals just said heres what we'll do and werthandboras jumped on it, knowing teams weren't going to be stupid enough to match or come close to that

[QUOTE="-Halftime-"]And yet they still won't compete with the Yankeesxscrapzx

Why wouldn't they compete with the Yankees? That is quite a bold statement considering last year before everyone got injuried on the team they were a game back before the all star break and that was with Beckett and Lackey pitching mediocre.

yup, it was crazy at times watching the games and seeing the lineup filled with triple a players

but it wasnt the injuries that hurt the team, it was the friggin bullpen

as for the trade, it should work wonders, im excited. the sox still have a lot of work to do, they need one more bat and they need some serious work in the bullpen
