Hopefully, I have 4 gb ddr3 (2x2) and I can upgrade to 8 gb ddr3. I want to upgrade but buying 2 (4gb ddr3) is really expensive. It would be nice if it went down. Even with the price drop I think it will probably still be too expensive for me to consider.
Hey, I haven't bought a new computer (Toshiba A500) in a while and have been out of the loop with all the programs out there. I am basically asking if anyone can give me some help/suggestions in things I should be doing when starting up my new laptop. I know Windows7 and everything is pre-installed but should can anyone give me a small list of things to look into. For example I was told to make sure I update my drivers. I dont know if Toshiba comes with extra programs that I don't need and just clutter up my computer? Are there little things to help performance out of the box? I know this is a broad question its just that when I bought a computer about 5 years ago (Dell) I remember a bunch of stuff that needed to be done and I had to bring it to an IT guys for him to fix up. It probably doesn't help that I have never used anything other than Windows Xp.
Oh ummm. Im Canadian and the laptop im looking at is in Canadian $$. I dont know if those laptops are american prices or not?
I'm going to buy a new laptop. I am looking for one that can play diablo3 and starcraft 2 when they come out( Looks like in around 2 years lol). It also needs to be reliable for school. I have a nice 40inch TV that I could hook it up too. I was looking at this one and was just wanted to hear some other opinions on it. I know its a bit expensive but im ok with the price.

Dont give up. Its gets very fun. You just need to get the hang of it and take all the tips into consideration. If you wanna see how the pro's are so good just watch one montage and you will learn alot.
I noticed this especially in GTA.
Only suggestion I have is make sure your not too close to the TV. Sometimes the game just has those jagged lines in it.
Im sorry to hear that man. I know how long it took you to get there too. This being said... whoever was the host should not be the host in the future. Pick someone with a good connection to be host. Im sure you will do it easily the 2nd time.
I have seen video on this too. I think its a terrible idea. It wouldruin consol gaming. If I wanna use a mouse and keyboard I will play on my computer and play some CS:S. Playing halo3 with a mouse and keyboard would change everything and it just wouldnt be the same.
I know I would be bored of it. Someone told me Halo was the best multiplayer game ever....turns out CoD4 is just about better in every which way..... So no, I won't play it, thank you. :)Logan1616
That would be awsome if that was true. Dont bring thatbologna in here.
