If you're not going to buy or don't already have a DX10 card, then don't bother.
Otherwise do as I did, and set up a dual boot boot system with both. My Vista installation is pretty much unused and lying dormant until some DX10 games come along.
Not just in terms of sales. But in quality and difference in games. I haven't bought one not because of price but because there aren't any titles I want on there yet. Couple of hundred difference doesn't make a difference to me, I just dont want an expensive ornament

Just thought I'd share this. Came across this new service that let's you store your favourite bookmarks online, and it takes thumbshots of those bookmarks so you can see the webpages you want to go to rather than have to read text.
