I think it's you who are misunderstanding.

I'm saying that the amount of money poured into the education system is more than sufficient, it's the way everything is handled that's the problem. And as far as I know, there have been no bandaids put on anywhere, unless you count no child left behind, and I don't.

Also, I don't know the attitudes of kids in other countries, but I know a huge percentage of them here in America just don't care about education.

Actually, according to many polls, people are worried about the economy, about 70% of people who are voting.

People talk about illegal immigration all the time.

As for a solution to it, I don't know. Strengthen border security and maybe ease up on the requirements for citizenship.

People do NOT talk about illegal immigration all the time, its always put on the back burner when it comes to issues. This year is economy. I watch the political news shows, and what not, and they spend very little time talking about illegal immigration, because its a soft issue. Its getting worse, and needs to do something about. Atleast Bush put in cement posts that does not allow vehicles to cross the border.
