If I eliminate the router, then everything is okay, however, if the router is back in the picture, then its back to square one. Yes, I have UNPN enabled. Like I said, the guy from Linksys helped me as much as he could.

Hello! Well, I been reading alot about these fimwares, and I think I would like to do so. I have a Linksys WRT54GS(kinda of old) anyway. I have been having a lot of trouble with my router, not being able to find match during matchmaking on any of my games. Called XBOX, they told me to get ahold of linksys and which I did. I didnt have my ports open, so I opened my ports and still nothing. I just would want to give this a try to see if maybe something could be done. Also, I usually push about 22.5 Down and about 2.5 Up, which is pretty good. But right now I am pushing 2.5 Down and .2 Up, which really sucks, lol. So, to get to my question, is is hard to install the tomato firmware? IF so, is there a place where I can get a step by step on how to do it, or is there a read me file in the download?

I agree with you to some extent but games such as mass effect 2, splinter cell: conviction and alan wake still give me hope. We have to see what microsoft does at this years e3 before we jump to conclusions, they are usually tight liped about their announcements. At the end of the day though both these consoles will probably be remembered for the cross platform titles such as assassins creed 2, bioshock 2, modern warefare 2 etc etc

Very true, XBOX does keep their mouths closed when it comes to games, but you cant fight the facts, like I mentioned Game Informer gives you a Preview of later games. Maybe 2010 will be XBOX360's year, but I wouldn't bet on it. Also, AC2, BS2 and MW2 are definetaly going to be reconginized for this years game, but thats going off track.

Im not sure about the XBOX360 having more exclusives, that may be including downloads from Live. I am trying to point out that, there are some excellent games that are only on the PS3, that XBOX 360 will never see the light of day. Mass Effect 2 is definetaly going to be a success, however, it may not be enough.

To give you some more info on that. Ubisoft was working with Darkworks, and which the developer of Darkworks left, so Ubisoft kicked the company from development, and now Ubisoft Shanghai will finish the game. Expected release is either from the end of 2009, or by March of 2010.

Let me start out by saying that, this not only hurts competition, but also will switch users from one system to another(not everyone can afford both systems) anyway. I have been reading Game Informer, and my favorite section is usually "Previews" and I tell you what, there are some interesting games that is PS3 exclusive, first off, we all know MGS4 is PS3 for now, now InFamous, Little Big Planet, Resitance, God Of War, Killzone, Heavy Rain, and more. Also, for the new Batman game, you can play as Joker, but only on certain maps for the PS3. XBOX 360, really needs to get back to exclusive games, since Bioshock was supposed to be XBOX360 only, but decided to go both systems later on down the road. But we are stuck with Gears Of War, and Halo. Any thoughts?

What router are you guys using? The one I have is taking a crap on me, and would like to know what you suggest.

Alright, it has only been about a week or so,and cant play any games on xbox live or pc, but my internet fluctuates, between 20Mb/s to 4MB/s and upload about 1Mb/s to .5 Mb/s....I had the comcast guy come out and he tested my signal and he said it was excellent, and we did a comcast speed test, and actually boosted up to 24mb/s for d/l....well not much longer till after he left, it started to get very slow...I have everything direct to my router, so could my router be taking a dump? I have a Linksys WRT54GS, its wireless but nothing is actually wireless right now, everything hooked up directly to router....what do you guys think? Thank you in advance.

DOOM 3 with out a doubt.....walking through a dark, wet hallway surrounded by generators and power wires down. Then all the sudden BOOM! something pops out righta t your face and is swinging an AXE at you......enough said, traded in at game stop the next day and got something more calmer. lol.
