Since when is 8.0 a bad score? Have you just been spoiled with all your favourite games getting 9 and above? The argument that IGN gave it 8.7 is pathetic when you think about it. Do you really care about GS giving it 0.7 less? And why do all games review sites have to give games the same bloody score? Grow up.

I for one will be buying this game anyway. Reviews don't matter to me, as long as I think I will enjoy the game, I will buy it and I am rarely wrong in my purchases (Clive Barker's Jericho was given 6.5 by GS and I think its a really fun title).

I just think that giving a game 8.0 just because its repetetive is bad.COme one, ac was repetetive and got a 9!!!

I think it's fair : it is stacked against 3 prequel games, thus getting a more severe review. The uniform complaint among all reviewers is the repetitiveness of the boss fights and the level design : those detract severely from the epicness of this game. I would give it an 8.5 max, but the repetitive level design is a major turnoff for me, a DMC fan since the original. The DMC seriesare repetitive in design to begin with : but for DMC4 to get a particular complaint about it does it no favour.

And also, it is, too many, simply DMC3 in HD.

Thats a good point, but i dont think that gamespot should have taken 2 points from devil may cry just because of the repetetiviness.Thats basicly the only problem the game has. It just seemes a bit too harsh.

My opinion is that everyone shouldn't care what the game got as far as reviews..as long as you like it and enjoy it then that's all that matters.

Well, i think ill like it, but i always read the reviews to be sure if the game is good. You never know xD

I like this game-. I really do. It seemes to be an very interisting gameplay, with a very interisting story. Some people said , in the beggining of the production of the game, that it sucked. But now, the same people that said that, are changing theyr minsds. And thats because the game soffered a massive «comeback» in terms of gameplay. So, i ask you, will or will it no, be good?
