They are commenting on how it has so far been a "more than 10 year journey" for the Xbox platform, which would include the original Xbox and 360.

@Thanatos2k Not releasing one for a year does not mean increased quality for the next.

They already have two different studios taking turns with each release. You want them to take 4 years each instead of 2?

@ihsanqueen The 360 has around 120 exclusives. They're not all great, but plenty of them are.

@ZombieGuyGeorge The Xbox One will release on the 8 year anniversary of the 360's release, which happened on Nov 22nd 2005.

The first Xbox was around for only half that at 4 years and launched on Nov 15th 2001.

@crazycat690 Not a lot really, but they did mention Skylanders in the article. Destiny is being published by Activision.

Outside of that, they do a lot of licensed crap like the James Bond games, Spiderman and Transformers. Nothing risky. A lot of cash-grabby.

That's not even a little bit true. Go look at their investor reports for the last 5 years. Xbox has been turning a profit for a long time.
