I think the funniest bit about it is that the 360 version does 1080P but the PS3 can't... oh and the PS3 version is laggy... oh well bad for Sony.

Original Guild Wars if very forgiving system spec wise. I'm sure any computer built within the last 3 years will run GW2 just find, the real question is whether or not yet will require a SM3 graphic card, my guess would be not but you never know. With the game still being a year away why are you asking system spec questions?

This game interested me but the fact that you need to have vista and pay for live, just killed it for me. I think MS could have had a winner if they had not put those silly requirements on the game. Still for that little money it would be tempting, if I had vista that is.

Valve decided to up the system requirements for EP2. You now need DX8 hardware or better, if you have a GeForce 4MX it is only DX7 hardware. The good news is a replacement DX8 or 9 videocard shouldn't cost you too much money.

Well EP2 will require a DX8 graphics card so if you don't have that you should definitely be upgrading. Here are valve's recommendations from the EP2 webpage.

Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 8 level Graphics Card, Windows Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

I be

ibm makes servers/computers with the cell processor with 1 ppe and 7 spe.

ibm doesnt sell any tricore modified p6 cores.

ps3rulezzggdff

If my memory servers me correct that is because MS owns the 360's CPU design, they paid IBM for it, not wanting to repeat the xbox-intel fiasco. At any rate both the PS3 and 360 use CPU tech first designed for the Gamecube, so we can all thank the BigN for getting IBM into the console CPU market.

You need to wait for the games to download before you can play them. Unlike Valve games they will not start until completely downloaded.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your gfx card and the most recent version of DX from MS. Plus you want to have start hl2 with the command -autoconfig to have the game re-detect your gfx hardware.

Usually those white flexes are a result of overclocking your videocard. If you haven't overclocked then you may want to make sure the fan on your GPU is still spinning.
