I'm really excited about D3 but I must say, I think those enemy models could be better. I think the background and landscape looks good. But those models could look better :-\
Steam is great when they have sales on games. Every weekend they have a new special on a game and it's usually a very good price. Steam is also good for indie games like Braid and Zeno Clash where you can't buy them in a retail package. However, if steam is at a similar price to a retail version I get of the game, I usually get the hard copy.
Also if you OWN the game, then downloading an ISO of the game and using your original CD key would work. It's not piracy since you own the game.
I had to do this with WC3 once. My original game CD was too scratched to be read but my Frozen Throne cd was fine. I installed the original wc3 with an iso and my cdkey and it worked out.
Ugh 50% off for a game I was probably gonna get eventually. OH the TEMPTATION. Decisions Decisions... Is the game still broke/bugged, or did they finally get all the kinks out of it?
So I got all the mods I wanted... I started through the game, I received the necklace thing from the king, but I have no quest in my log. I went to jaffre with the necklace and nothing happens... Is my game woofed up?!?!
This post may be bit l8 but ireckon first one its better i have CoH:OP CoH CoH:ToV and all DoW games the first dow to me is better but 2nd one has better graphics

Well, there are some mods that introduce new playable races into the game. There are also plenty of face, body and hair textures to replace vanilla faces/bodies/textures for existing playabe races. Probably not exactly what you were getting at, but that's what I know.
Yea thats kinda what I was looking for. More texture options at the start of the game to choose from. Really all I want is some better graphics, some more characters tecture options, and maybe some side quests that I can install.
Well, try out all the mods GS recommended -- these are all subtle graphics mods tha6 make the game look a lot nicer. Mr_Versipellis

And yea I'm not looking for a completely different game mods for my first game. Just some mods that make it look nicer, and maybe add some extra quests along the line
