i dont know why ppl keep saying that the condemned games are scary.ArsenicA

I respect your opinion but I think its very easy to see why people find the games 'scary'. Even if you don't enjoy Condemned 1 and/or Condemned 2, if you've played the games or know a little about them, you'll know that there are some great jump out of your seat moments and that the music, graphics and plot are eerie. A lot of it depends on whether you find yourself immersed in the game or not. If you're immersed then you find theres an atmosphere to the games and its easy to draw you in and occasionally give you shivers or the quick scare. If you're not immersed, then it quite possibly it will have no effect.

I appreciate that you may not have found the Condemned games scary yourself but its easy to see why some people did. I personally found that they drew me in and I felt uneasy playing the games - definitely more so with the first one.

I love Fear, great game and I'm excited about Project Origin as the trailers and gameplay videos look fantastic. I personally like Fear Files very much as its more of the same. Fair enough, they are supplementary to the main story in Fear rather than being sequels but the two games you get within Fear Files are good in their own right and I enjoyed them very much.

I love both Condemned and the sequel but the original definitely seems to have more 'jump out of your seat' moments. They're both great games, must buy's in my opinion but I feel that the original had slightly more atmosphere to it with the sequel having more combat and better graphics.

I'm level 44 at the moment but haven't got a clue what 'prestige' is! What do you get with prestige?

Brilliant game and should definitely be purchased. I paid £40 for it when it was released which at the moment, I believe is equivalent to around $79 at current rates. Not sure if you American guys know, but games in the UK cost more than what you guys pay for them. I've heard $60 as being the normal price for a new game which would be really cheap here. A new release here is almost always £40 so you guys get them cheap in comparison.

I played online about a month ago and the room always filled pretty quickly. The online community seems to still be alive to me... in fact I may play it for a while later...whip out the old M1 Garand.

I have a 32" LCD tv in the living room and my xbox 360 is connected to a 24" tv (standard) in the dining room. I've tried playing on the 32" LCD a few times and even though it looks great, I actually find it harder to concentrate on the game. Tried playing closer to it, further away and it doesn't help. I find the smaller screen helps me to focus better and seems easier on the eyes.

I think - and no disrespect to the topic author - that its petty to bring it up, particularly on a random match (rather than a pre-arranged clan match for example). Like I said, sometimes you have good games and sometimes you have bad games. Sometimes its your fault and sometimes your team mates. Sometimes you play great as a team or as an individual and still lose. I admit that it can be really frustrating and I'm more of a casual gamer (bought Call Of Duty 4 on UK release date and am only like a level 44 as I don't play too often - I do work long hours and have a long term girlfriend and a social life) but you just have to accept these things or only play certain types of matches which means you limit the amount of fun you can have.

Maybe it was just one of those games? Sometimes just happens.

Yea,exactly...but i'd also put in Mass Effect 2,BioShock 2...to name a few more!

Oh, absolutely, its just they were the first three to come to mind. I didn't even realise they were making a Bioshock 2 - thats fantastic news. I definitely want to get my hands on Assassins Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 as well. Not played a massive amount of Mass Effect but its a great game that I like to play in stints. Not very far in to it but give me time.
