I have finished my application form for Edge Hill Unu :D I hope I get in. Im not 100% I want to go yet but Im just keeping my options open. I going to do Web Systems Development which I'd really enjoy. The only thing on my mind is Im about 4k in debt but as long as I keep up repayments and my job in the club I should be ok. I just wont be able to get as drunk as a student should but I think Ive done enough of that the last few years anyway, hence the debt. If anyone wants to contribute 4k to pay off my debt they're more than welcome, and I'll give you a Guinness hat, a Guinness badge and a blow up pint of Guinness I took from work the other night. Keep it real.

So I started working with that fella but it turned out he only needed me for a week as he already had someone else lined up to start the week after. I told my Dad that and he said thats not what he got told so hes going to ask him when he sees him. I don't think I'm ever going to get a proper job. The week didn't go too bad except for nearly breaking an £800 cassette. I don't know if it would have been something Id like to do for a living but I'm in no position to decline any job offers. I'm a bit pissed off he didn't explain the situation more clearer as I was under the impression it would have been a permanent thing, instead of a week. I traveled more this week than I have in my life, we done 1200 miles in 5 days. At least I got some money out of it which I used to pay some of my debt off to my little bro, buy some games and a TV Card for my PC and get very drunk. As Ive just built a new PC I bought Company of Heroes, Doom 3 and some Half Life 2 pack, all for less than £50. I'm also going to buy a VGA cable for the 360 so I can play it on my monitor. I'm still eating and drinking like its Christmas so I think its back to the gym tomorrow to try and lose some weight, Ive probably gained half a stone since New Year. My no smoking resolution lasted less than a week as well so I might give that another go. I promise I'll write about something happy next time.

I told pops the other night about not getting that job and he said he might know someone who's looking for an apprentice sort of thing. My ideal job would have been in IT seeing as Im doing an IT course, but beggars cant be choosers and I might not get an opportunity like this again so I took it. I spoke to the fella about an hour ago and hes willing to give me a go, he does air conditioning in offices and other buildings. Its not a bad job to get into really, I was trying to get into something like this when I was 16 but it didnt happen. He'll be picking my up in the morning at 7:30am (I forgot there was a 7 in the morning) and we're off to Warwick (dont know where that is) for our first job then onto Scotland, as its a lot of traveling we'll be put up in hotels for the night. Im not too bothered about traveling a lot, it'll give me a break from this house. Well thats about it, Im looking forward to starting and hope I can make something of this. I shall probably post in a couple of days when Im home and tell you how it went.

I got an email while I was in work saying I didnt get the job :( I didnt really expect to, I think they were looking for someone with a bit more experience. They could have told me that over the phone though and saved me £50. Oh well, life goes on.

Ive just come back from an interview and I can without a doubt say it was the worst one yet. For a start it was in Speke, and I live in Maghull, so its about 20 miles away and my dads car wouldnt start this morning so I had to get a taxi there and back because it was too late to get buses and trains. So I got a taxi there which cost £25, I turned up early enough with plenty of time to spare and when they called me for the interview it lasted about 15 minutes, they asked me what I'd been doing and a typical scenario, but nerves got the better of me and I think I got it wrong :( So after a £25 journey and rather disappointing interview I had to pay another £25 to get home. There goes my weekend beer money. Im a bit pissed off now, I'll just have to sit here and carrying on studying and applying for jobs and wait for the Dear John letter.

Just a quick one to say I have just bought my tickets to see Trivium in Liverpool in April :) I cant wait, but its 4 months away :(

I never know what to write about in these things, so I dont. But, last night I done probably the most exciting thing Ive done for months so I thought Id write about it. I was meant to be working all night last night but the place was empty so my boss let me get off at 8. Some lads I work with were having a few pints before going to see Pick of Destiny and asked me to go with them. Im not a fan of Jack Black or Tenacious D so proposed we go see Jackass 2 instead.The thought of seeing stupid stunts and a few pints from me hepled sway their minds. From the opening scene I was already in tears with laughter. Because now theyve done most things they must have thought the only way to go was to do more dangerous stunts. Most made Bam cry a few times. As well as the outrageous stunts you got the stupid ones as well. I wont go into too much detail incase anyone is going to see it soon. If anyone is a fan of the series or the first film this is a definate must. Its awesome.

I got my old job back in a bar I used to work in. Its under new management so all the people I used to hate arent there now. Theres still loads of the same bar staff though, but most of them are my mates anyway. Its not the best job but it'll do for over xmas and for some spending money for Egypt in January. No more going to the job centre at half 9 of a Friday morning hungover to death. Yay.

Ive been unemployed for 6 months now and Im getting annoyed at not being able to find work. Some woman has just rang me up about a job and said she thought Id be suitable for it. She went through the job with me for about an hour on the phone and told me I'll have to fill an application form in and email her it back before the closing date. She emailed me the application for at 16:42 but forgot to tell me the the closing date is today at 17:00. Pain in the ****. Ive just rushed my ball bag off completing it and managed to finish it with 3 minutes left on the clock. If she hadnt kept me on the phone for an hour I would have had loads of time to write it out properly. No wonder I cant get a job when theres idiots like that on the recruitment teams. Thats another application I'll never hear from again.
