[QUOTE="-eitch8"]this wont be exclusive because bungie left microsftdeath919Microsoft still owns the Halo IP.
Also 1UP said MS was the publisher yesterday after reporting the Bungie announcement cancellation. Funny how Sony fanboys keep saying this despite their hate for Bungie, Microsoft, and Halo

[QUOTE="Big_Boss465"]HAHAHAHA....hold on....must....catch breath....laughing....too hard. They are nowhere close to matching Live's features. Listen, I love PSN and the fact that it is free, but Live still is a better service. The fact that you can't even initially connect a headset to your PS3 without struggle is embarrasing, that's not even mentioning the problems with in-game communication I've had in games like Warhawk, Resistance, and MGO.
After using both services quite substantially, PSN still has a lot to work on, and Live looks like its fall update will widen the gap even further before it starts to shrink. PSN is making strides no doubt about it, but it will not be "soon" before PSN even catches up to Live.

You miss my point. I am talking about the main LIVE and PSN features are quite close now. The extra features that make LIVE better cannot make up for the 360 lacking power to run the biggest mulitplayer games. This could be LIVE's arhille's heels. All Sony has to do is make huge muliplayers games that can't be done on the 360. Make those games fun.
LIVE can't compete with that, even when it goes free as there's nothing that stops Sony from improving PSN.
Even if that is true, what's the point of having these massive games when communication between teammates is still a problem for even smaller games. May I also remind you that scale does not equal fun. I've had more fun with Gears and co-op games and Terrorist Hunt in Rainbow than Resistance, Halo 3, and Warhawk. I hope it works out well, I want M.A.G. to be great (for the MMO's though I could care less, not a fan) because my PS3 is collecting dust ever since I beat MGS4 for the second time. But if you think large MP games make PSN better, I think your wrong.
Often times you here developers (including Sony's first party devs) talk about scaling back the amount of people in an MP game because it is too chaotic and detracts from the fun. So until I see one of these games succeed on consoles I don't think that the rational of bigger battles equals more fun holds. Therefore I don't think saying PSN is surpassing Live is true either

[QUOTE="ultimate_123"]I'm just glad xbox aint getting MAG. I would be embarrased to get such a crappy type game like that.warmaster670
I suppose having to settl ewith xbox and xbox live, youve never experienced a good large scale shooter, there great, so much better than this 5v5 crap.
First off I will start by saying MAG looks good and it is on my radar...I'm just not that entirely excited at the moment since it could be a while before I get to play it. That being said scale and fun do not directly correlate with one another. MP games with different amounts of players on a map have nothing to do with the quality of the game. How the gameplay on those maps is utilized on the maps given the amount of players is what matters. I know I've enjoyed small battles on Gears more than larger battles in games like Resistance, Halo 3, and Warhawk this generation, proving scale has nothing to do with entertainment.
