I originally said MGS4 did deserve a 10 and GTA IV didn't. That was a knee jerk reaction, and while I still think both are incredible games, being slightly removed from the hype around those games has shifted my perspective. Now I don't think either deserved its 10 from gamespot or IGN even though I enjoyed both thoroughly.
I am strongly considering this game as a buy. All the gameplay footage looks like a lot of fun, what about blowing stuff up in a jungle isn't? Co-op will make Mercs 2 incredible.
Mass Effect was even shorter than that if you just plugged straight through. I don't play WRPG's like that though. I can't wait to see all there is to do in the world of Fable 2. The 1UP guys said there are sidequests everywhere. For instance, some sidequests are only accessible if you commit a crime and choose to do community service. I will be playing Fable 2 for quite some time I'm assuming.

How you know that game stink when you haven't even try it? It still got months of development and polishing to be done. Wait till you try the game to give your judgement.
Yet people on these boards do it all the time and it is accepted. Gears 2 get bashed by cows constantly, they haven't played it and even though the first was a success people say the game will suck without playing it. Same goes for games like Banjo 3, Resistance 2, M.A.G, etc.
It will outsell MGS4 but its score on GS will be lower!!!!Gamersince81

That's funny, all MGS4 is fun SP and that's about it. Also I didn't realize you had played through Gears 2 SP story which is being called the most improved thing about the game.

lulz. You just started doing it in your own thread. Seriosly...why do you care what they do? It is funny that you let random claims upset you so much. Also, lets forget about Star Ocean, how many cows thought Bungie's next game would be on PS3? It goes both ways. You'll be an unhappy person if you let these things bother you so much.
I honestly don't understand some of you that favor PSN over Live. I don't want to make assumptions or anything, but I have trouble believing you've played both substantially. If you had I think you'd see how ludicrous your claims are. Live offers the better experience hands down in my eyes, and while I appreciate what PSN offers for no fees at all it has a lot of catching up to do in my eyes.
I'm incredibly excited for both for different reasons. I can't wait to get my group of friends together for Left 4 Dead, it looks like such a fun and different kind of game. RE5 looks like it will deliver a finely tuned, visually updated version of RE4 which I am also excited for.
