we saw lots of great FPShooters this year, The darkness, Bioshock, Cod4, Timeshift, Medal Of honor and Halo were among the greatest of them in my opinion.
every one of them achieved something better than others and had fallen short on something while others didn't. obivious thing is that we can't say which is the best for sure cuz none of them are complete. It's just a matter of opinion (which isnt a bad thing)
Personally I think CoD 4 was the best one of them because it's like an experience. It's not the type of game where you are roaming around looking for bugs or are racking up multipliers and stuff. and this is not a game in which you are the Hero, Somekind of a superhuman which is the master of all fields, and you're not using powerful top notch weapons and abilities against a bunch of arabs with handmade weapons. In this game, you are a soldier like everybody else. And all you think about is how to survive. The game makes you think fast and decide. The tension u get from playing this game is as close as it can get to reallity, tough it's even better than being really real because you can actually have fun. what Cod4 has achieved is revolutionary. and i personally choose it over any shooter to day (except the almight RSV)
