yea i agree with six, i know there hopefully gonna fix the footsteps and everything else at somepoint in some patch, but atleast they could let us know and acknowledge that the sound is screwed up and there making a patch for it.

and listening to footsteps is a big part of the game. Its not cheap or anything so noone should be complaining about sound whoring, as of right now ninja is useless and people are running around the maps. Im just saying i hope they fix it and make it more like mw2.

Def get the x11 i would go as far as getting the dx11, which is the x11's and a turtle beach dss which turns the x11s into amazing 5.1 dolby surrond sound. And i agree with the post above saying that treyarch has really screwed up with the sounds. I sit in a corner with my surrond headset and try to hear the enemy and then a enemy walks right past me without ninja on and i dont hear one footstep. i dont understand it at all.

another thing, when the xbox isnt even on and the dss box is on the headphones still make the humming noise.

i use the optical cable, and im not sure what it really could be.

So i bought the dx11's and when i set them up and put them on i noticed a little hum or hiss, nothing bad or anything. Im just wondering if there is any way to get rid of it? what if i didnt directly put the usb into the xbox? like if i bought the usb wall plug adapter, would that help?

shoot i meant component from the start, so there is little to no difference between component and hdmi?

Stupid question but is there a difference in quality when using a hdmi at 1080p than using the composite cables at 1080p?
