Really depends on how good your tv's scaler is. I personally output at 1080i and let my tv downscale the image to its native res (1366 x 768) or 720p.

I would stay away from SlimFits. CRT's have enough geometry issues as it is and the SlmFits are waaaay worse.

I'm pretty angry with myself for not having the patience to wait, i have 18gigs of music and a 16gb iPod Touch that i bought on release. Gonna try to ebay it now, then buy the 32GB and accept the losses.

For HD content over HDMI:

Sharpness: 25

Color: 50

Tint: 50/50

Backlight 4/5 (depends on lighting conditions, adjust accordingly)

Edge Enhancement: On/ Off depends on which look you like better

The rest just leave untouched.

1080P really isn't needed at 32". To the OP if you think that your getting less than stellar picture quality from the Samsung let me know and i'll post my settings. This is one tv you really need to play with the settings to get it to look fantastic.

Personally for gaming i think Samsung is the best, i can't comment on the 32" Sharps but i had a Sony KDSL32000 before i bought the same tv you have and i got a great deal of image lag/ghosting while playing games on it. The Samsung is one of the best 32" out there.
