I'm sure there'll either be another one of some kind, or the DS will go on forever. There are too many games that are portable exclusive, or wouldn't carry over to a console well enough for them to stop making portables. *cough* Pokemon *cough*

CD's are currently only superior to carts one one way.... cost. Technology is leaps and bounds above where it was in the 90's. Last I saw on Discovery channel, they had produced debit card sized cartridges that can hold 8o gigs. Of course if something costs 100+ bucks, it's not really feasible at this point to use the technology.

I'd like to see a return to carts someday. The things are damn near indestructible unless you're trying to break it. No moving parts, no real load times. It would be sweet.

Yep. And if they ever quit working, you just had to blow in the end of them and they would work again.

Well, I was talking to a friend who does a lot of programming/computer work and somehow the conversation meandered towards cartridges and CDs. He indicated that really, CD's were not any better than carts; infact being slightly worse due to loading times whereas a cart can instantly access whatever part of the game it needs too. He went on to say that the only reason why cartridges lost out to CDs is because CDs seemed newer and more advanced, despite the Nin 64's cartridges having comparable graphics and performance to the PS1. My question is: are CDs really superior to gaming cartridges? Are they better suited to handling modern games than cartridges? Are they easier to make or program to, or is it all a placebo? Thanks in advanced.

Dunno about paintball, but Mario Paint for the Wii would be pretty cool.

I really dislike Spear Pillar. Especially when it goes into mirror mode or flips upside down. I'm also not fond of any of the Pokemon Stadiums.

One thing that I KNOW everyone woud hate is a stage I made in the arena creator. It has four blocks that drop for everyone to start out on. When they drop, they fall down to a long row of spikes. No other platforms or anything. Yep; I can be pretty evil.
