I'm in Australia and use a madcatz Standard Edition Fight stick they are fine but some have reported issues with the joystick scratching the surface of the pcb inside making the joystick not read inputs. They are however the easiest sticks to modify and parts just slip straight in with no soldering. Myself and most people with the madcatz S.E. fightstick swap the parts straight away even if it's just to personalize it and choose your own coloured parts. I do have a Hori stick which I feel is far better but I have seimitsu parts in that one and only use it for PS2. You can get cheap sticks from Ebay but like one my Honcam stick they are rubbish stock and take some more work to modify. In the end it cost me the same as a stock Hori or S.E.

PS2 has a ton of Streetfighter and King of fighter games to check out as well as Arcana heart, Hokuto no ken, and some compilations from neo geo and other arcade collections. I've never tried Melty Blood or Guilty Gear so I can't comment on them.

Deffinetly get the 4 in 1 cart as mentioned earlier. Make sure to check out some of the japanese 2d fighters like asuka %120, galaxy fight and sonic council. Plenty of great shoot em ups for the saturn but I'm sure someone else will be listing a bunch soon for you. So many cool exclusives for the saturn and plenty of cool titles that were only in the arcades and no other console.

Whizball on the C64 was the game I'd get up for each morning and try to get further into it and work more out. However Cloud master for the Sega master system was the first game that made me want a console and had me trying to better my friends scores.

I just dropped $400 on a LG 32ld350 and wanted to see how the PS2 looks in widescreen. The disc in the console was a japanese import of fu'un super combo so I checked it out. after the start up screen and menu it went into the character select screen and it went black and displayed "Invalid video format" while still outputing audio.

It seems like a 50hz/ 60hz issue I don't know what hz each component is but I'm in Australia and the TV or PS2 could be 50hz. I assume the NTSC-J game is 60hz. I tried another game that was NTSC-J format ( street fighter 3) and it worked fine.

QUESTION 1, Is there settings somewhere I can use to fix this issue or am I out of luck with games that have feature 60hz parts?

I'm using component cables and am looking at getting a HD Box pro in the future and hoping this may have a feature to address this issue.

QUESTION 2, When I use the HD Box pro and input with VGA and my Xbox360 wants to use VGA is there a splitter or something I can use so I don't have to swap plugs?

Any help is appriciated.

Same here I had it on my fat and now on my slim. So I think its the router. I switched to wireless too. Router works fine for 360 though.
