WoW can keep you hooked but you really need to try it more; usually what makes WoW interesting is the end game content (raids) and PvP.
Do you have a friend that has a WoW account active? Ask him if he could lend you his account so you can try it more, if you liked buy it but I recommend he refer you so you can get more experience if you are questing with your pal.

I wouldn't suggest lending an account. It is against the ToS. It is mostly the end-game that keeps people hooked.
Crysis holds this I think. Amazing shooting, you have to plan when to use your tranquilizing bullets. You can customize your guns, figure out when to sneak up on a group or just flat out murder them. You also have to figure out which part of the nano suit you have to use.
Favorite for 2010 S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat: This games atmosphere is beyond imaginable. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm: This game improved upon the piece of junk Wrath was and made it like Vanilla and TBC again. Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Provided me with what is probably the best FPS this gen. Anticipated for 2011 Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: Will hopefully build upon what is already an awesome franchise. The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings: The Witcher was easily the best RPG this gen and I doubt Projekt CD will fail on this one. DOTA 2: What more can I say. It's being released by Valve and is one of the best mods for Warcraft 3.
