Ofcoarse its not a brand new console, its weaker than the xbox 360 and came out 7 years later.

Oh look another comment that says "Look at me, I don't know anything and here's some stuff that makes no sense that's simply acting as flamebait." Damn you system wars. Go and tell microsoft and sony to at least try to make a console with some power instead of ones that have similar specs to ultrabooks.

lol no it is microsoft who needs to pack it up and leAVE THEIR RUINING THE GAMING INDUSTRY simple fact the only reason i choose xone over ps4 atm is because of dead rising 3 and forza 5   , ,   other then that ----  nintendos way more better ,

they always make good on their promises -- example one , they promised to release all or most of its classic franchises - they did that ,  ,

the only 4 ips left to not have games since gc , are fzero 1080 wave race and stuntrace fx since snes,

---- other promises include online play --- the wiiu has a good enough online   alot better then the wii , no fc bs ,  and  such ,

I could argue that sony too nearly ruined gaming last gen with it's arrogance in creating a console with the business plan of "they'll buy it anyway, they'll buy anything we make."

Because Nintedo and the Wii U suck balls.

Look mom! my first post! Now back to call of duty to spew some racial slurs and sexual promiscuity. I'll be getting it, looks good but I wish Retro would be making a 3D game which shows off their prowess as a developer.

I dont know, I guess. Im not saying the wii u is a bad console, I think it's a great idea, but I just havent seen any interesting games so far. Im speaking for any potential wii u owners, cause my brother already owns one as he is a pikmin fan. Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 are the only interesting games, but pikmin 3 was way too short, at least to me. Yes there is Wind Waker, but it's just a remake, and all the other upcoming games look very similar such as mario kart and super mario 3d world.

Yes if you like the usual mario and zelda formulas then it's worth it, but I just want to see some new stuff on the table, like pokemon snap 2, star fox, metroid, and new nintendo formulas never seen before. I also hope nintendo continues to support JRPGs on their consoles, because it was really cool to see Xenoblade and Last Story come to north america. I just want nintendo to expand their game variety and not be afraid to do something new.

I agree with you and I believe the games are coming, the thing that confuses me is that there's nothing interesting coming to ps4 or xbone either. May as well just stay with current gen until something worthwhile gets released.

Not a chance it's going to be between current and next gen. It's power is no better than 360 or PS3 so how could it possibly be better?

This is a poor reply. The Wii U is significantly stronger than the ps3 or 360 and Ubisoft have said that the next gen version has been modified and is coming to Wii U. Their description sounded like they were very easily able to port the next gen version to Wii U, which implies that it'll simply be at a lower resolution or possibly a smaller draw distance. They then went on to say that they had only just then started working on making the ps360 version and said it would be far a far inferior version. Your comment suggests you know nothing about the power of a system.

After yesterday getting hands on experience with the ps4 and xbone, I'm 100% sure the Wii U is the best choice of console this generation. Both failed to impress and everything I've seen thus far could quite easily be done on Wii U. Ryse was particularly disappointing and killzone was quite embarrassing to watch as well. The numbers have not helped ms or sony as much as they'd hoped.

eas butthurt over origin that simple but when wiiu picks up steam the support should as well

YEah. It's DEFINITELY not the fact that the Wii U si selling poorly and revious 3rd party games haven't sold all that well.
It's no big loss, EA isn't all that great since after N64.BigBen11111
I highly disagree with that but to each his own. Mass Effect Series Crysis 1 DA: Origin Burnout Series Battlefield Series Mirror's Edge You have to admit that those are some quality games, regardless if you like them or not.

Burnout has been terrible since Revenge, mass effect 3 is available on Wii U, Crysis is really not that great and Crytek have confirmed CryEngine is running on Wii U, Battlefield is still best on pc and Mirror's Edge I'll give to you was a good game, but I doubt DICE will be releasing it any time soon, I imagine they'll have their hands full with BF4

A really great console. People hate on it because 3rd party shovelware was a major thing on the Wii, but Nintendo produced some incredible titles and in my mind, without a doubt the best titles this gen. Look at the reviews everywhere, pretty much all the first party and second party titles get glowing reviews but are reduced into obscurity because of all the shovelware.

If I were to complain about anything, I'd say that Nintendo really should have made motion plus a thing from the get-go. The accelerometer only was a little disappointing but once motion plus hit and games supported it, the Wii Remote felt exactly how it should have.

Halo's story, albeit difficult to follow because of a combination of low dialogue volume and the plot that throws you into the middle of it a little, but the scale of the world makes it actually quite deep.

Oh also, Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite. C'mon TC, are you even trying?
