So shouldn't you NOT be buying a console at all? the cpu is built for low power environments and will be appearing in ultrabooks and the gpu is low-mid tier at best. This 8GB RAMZZZZ XDXD that sony seems to have a patent on is absolutely meaningless if the rest of the system sucks. Hope you enjoy your sub-par system which is running everything at 720p, the 1080p promise has been broken yet again. Wii U PC is the way to go this generation.

Really TC? So you'd have skipped the PS2 in favour of the original Xbox?
Sometimes power isn't everything.

power is always good, but it isn't everything. It just so happens that my platform of choice this coming gen has the better specs too.
So you aren't buying the best specs at all, you're a cow who's buying playstation because sony hasn't screwed you over enough yet.
Nintendo is doomed. This time, for real.OreoMilkshakeYes, ignore the past million times people have claimed Nintendo to be doomed; this time it's totally happening. For real. Seriously.. Also, wouldn't this affect sony and microsoft equally as much? I'm struggling to see the difference here.
Has he seen the ps3.5 and xbone's "next gen" graphics? These are supposed to be consoles far superior to the Wii U but we haven't seen anything even remotely impressive yet. IGN showed a teaser video for the next generation and 90% of it was just cutscenes and CGI. The gameplay that was shown looks like it was running on Wii U hardware.
Nintendo is in the strongest position out of all 3 consoles thus far, the media should be worried about the ps4 and xbone. I can't believe that sony and m$ would fund another failed generation where they're making a loss on consoles for about 3 or 4 of the 6 years the console is on the market for.
Oh Nintendo, the player that gamers dismiss but is actually the giant juggernaut in the gaming industry.
If the xbone tanks, M$ could keep going since they're huge but I'd be a little more worried about sony, the vita has tanked harder than the psp before it with no signs of change there and the ps4 gets more and more disappointing by the day.
Wow, this is what we're boasting about? Colour me disappointed. These look like the Wii U could do this game. Flat textures and no bump mapping in sight. remind me why we're excited for the ps4 and xbone?
why are cows so obsessed with ryse? is the ps4 lineup that terrible?mems_1224Yes.
Please Miyamoto give us a new Star Fox, 1080 Avalanche sequel and to a lesser extent, F Zero. I really just want him to keep up Nintendo's current franchises and push games out the door instead of trying something new. Just get games out! I trust that you've got a great idea for a new franchise, but let's get the Wii U up on it's feet and selling well before we jump into something brand new.
Ok, so firstly, I firmly believe that a massive issue Nintendo has had is the lack of advertising coupled with the name. Wii U sounds like an addon, like the xbox kinect. People don't think that they need a new console, if Nintendo had just gone with Wii 2 or something easy for people to understand, there's no doubt in my mind that people would flock to it. Secondly, Wii U's launch titles were pretty good but the flow stopped pretty dramatically. While I'm still happy because I can't really afford any games right now and have yet to play a lot of them, there's just not too much hype around games coming out.
On a different note, I agree with Reggie. For these systems that appear to claim that they're so much better than the Wii U, I've yet to see a game that definitively proves this. All the titles we have seen thus far are lacklustre at best, particularly with the reveal that Battlefield 4 looks like crap on consoles. Also, their tech demos were remarkably underwhelming and on-par and occasionally less impressive than Wii U's Zelda tech demo or the Japanese Garden tech demo. With Watch Dogs as looking like one of the prettiest games on these systems, it's embarassing for sony and m$ that the Wii U is getting the same version that they are and that Ubisoft have said that the Wii U is most definitely a next gen system. With all of this, it's hard to see the Wii U not being a system that can compete on a power level with the ps4 and xbone. Please don't bring up the amount of ram on each system, if you understood anything about them, you'd know that 8gb is overkill and most of it is going towards the game recording and OS stuff in the systems and leaving under half for the actual game.
This is also coming with these systems not even released yet, which I believe will only bring with it more disappointment as there's bound to be some issues in the systems that get the internet riled up. From all of this, I'm waiting at the very least a year before buying either an xbone or ps4 because in my eyes, the Wii U appears to be the only stable console.
Oh and I honestly don't care about EA not supporting Wii U, their business practices are akin to a spoiled child who throws their toys when somebody doesn't cave to their demands, on top of the fact that they said the exact same thing with the Wii (That they wouldn't support it) only to quietly come crawling back without telling the media and acting like it never happened. On this principle, I don't buy EA.
