Bengals at Jaguars == Good defense or not the Bengals still suck but not as much as the Jags.

Cardinals at Vikings == Cards probably have the edge here.

Chiefs at Colts == Thinking the Colts finaly get a win here.

Eagles at Bills == Ok I am not going to lie but I am actually enjoying seeing the Eagles stink like they have been. Sorry I just have a problem with sports media crowning a team and even more so a QB that really hasn't done anything that has amounted to anything that actually matters. Anyway...the Eagles should be a better team and should win this but I am having trouble picking them to do it.

Raiders at Texans == The Raiders are ok but no way they are better than the Texans...but then again they are the Texans.

Saints at Panthers == Cam Newton is another QB that had been crowned by the sports media and while signs are pointed at least for now that he may be good the Saints should hand him and his team another loss.

Seahawks at Giants == I guess the them of the Giants is do not underestimate them because despite a rash of injuries and sloppy play they just keep pushing.

Titans at Steelers == Titans are kind of a surprise team this season and the Steelers are just kind falling apart.

Buccaneers at 49ers == Niners are another surprise team and the Bucs are kind of doing how I thought they would do.

Chargers at Broncos == The Chargers actually start out a season by winning for once and unlike last season they should easily win thier division since all the other teams in it are bad.

Jets at Patriots == Surprisingly the Jets haven't been runnig thier mouth about this game. This one is either going to be a dog fight or a blowout and I think it all depends on whether the Pats can not turn the ball over or not becuase thier defense can't stop anything.

Packers at Falcons == The Falcons have looked pretty awful to me so far...or at least considering I was expecting much more.

Monday, October 10
Bears at Lions == I for one am not surprised that the Lions are winning and they should get the W in this one too.

49ers at Eagles == Vicks' whine-fest post last week was pretty pathetic. Should win this one though.

Bills at Bengals == Bills 4-0? Sure why not.

Lions at Cowboys == Romo may very well get killed in this one.

Panthers at Bears == You got yor win Cam, now go back to losing.

Redskins at Rams == Bradford seems like he could a good QB. Too bad most of the rest of the team sucks.

Saints at Jaguars ==

Steelers at Texans ==

Titans at Browns ==

Vikings at Chiefs == This should a good one watch huh?

Broncos at Packers == Packers have a pretty easy schedule this season so the wins should keep coming.

Dolphins at Chargers == I'm off the Dolphins.

Falcons at Seahawks ==

Giants at Cardinals ==

Patriots at Raiders == Another year that the Pats D can't stop anything, but can the Raiders D stop thier offense?

Jets at Ravens ==

Monday, October 3
Colts at Buccaneers ==

49ers at Bengals == Bengals are too busy getting high to care are winning football.

Broncos at Titans == I don't know about this one. I just fugure that if Titans can beat the Ravens than they can beat Denver too.

Dolphins at Browns == Not sure why I am picking the Dolphins again. Maybe because I don't think they are that bad and all they did last season was lose at home but won on the road.

Giants at Eagles == If Vick survives the game, the Eagles win. If he doesn't than the Giant do nbut still look hella ugly and sloppy doing it.

Jaguars at Panthers == Newton is looking like a sarting QB and maybe even a very quickly rising star if he can maintain. he should get his first win in this one.

Lions at Vikings == Stafford Healthy mean winning for the Lions.

Patriots at Bills == I like the new look Bills but I am still not sure they are good enough to beat the Pats.

Texans at Saints == Until the Texans prove they can hang consistantly with the better teams in the league i will have trouble picking them to win against them.

Cardinals at Seahawks == The Seahawks continue thier battle be the worst team in the league.

Chiefs at Chargers == Chiefs are awful this season. Expecting a blowout.

Falcons at Buccaneers == I am not overly impressing with the Falcons so far this season as I expected more but I also though the Bucs would be improving too.

Jets at Raiders == Campbell stinks and could to do more to help the Jets win this game than his own team.

Packers at Bears == The Bears to me are a lot like the Eagles. The national media raves about them and overhypes them all them.

Ravens at Rams == I don't actually think the Rams are that bad but I am not sure they are good enough to beat the top teams in the league yet.

Steelers at Colts == Not sure what is up with the Colts. I don't want to say that they have quit but common. Yeah you lost your starting QB but nobody can play on either side of the ball now?

Monday, September 26
Redskins at Cowboys ==

Thursday, September 8th
Saints at Packers

Sunday, September 11th
Bengals at Browns = Really don't know about this one just felt the Browns were a team getting better last season but who knows whether that will carry into this one.

Bills at Chiefs = Chiefs probably won't do as well as last season but the Bills have to prove they can be good at all these days.

Colts at Texans = The funny part is I could see the Texans still not only lose this game but still somehow lose thier division. That is just the kind of team they are.

Eagles at Rams = Vick is the best QB ever! Nobody can beat the Eagles! Actaully I hope the Rams maul them but it is hard to see it happening right now.

Falcons at Bears = Could go either way, guess I will bank on Cutler blowing it somehow.

Lions at Buccaneers = If the Lions can keep Stafford healthy they will be a good team this season.

Steelers at Ravens = Because this is how these usually go.

Titans at Jaguars = Shot in the dark on this one.

Giants at Redskins =

Panthers at Cardinals = What exactly is the "upside" of Cam Newton?

Seahawks at 49ers = Kind of getting the feeling the Niners will be terrible and doing everything they can to get the number 1 pick next season.

Vikings at Chargers = Lets see if the Chargers can actually start off quickly this season.

Cowboys at Jets =

Monday, September 12th
Patriots at Dolphins = Probably closer than you think but nly because the Pats always seem to struggle some in Miami.

Raiders at Broncos = I really have no idea here.

Super Bowl XLV
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Green Bay Packers
PIT: 17 GB: 24

Explain: I think that the Packers are the better team overall on both sides of the ball. Both teams have had thier up and down moments over the course of the season but I think as of right now the Pack seems to be playing thier best football. the Steelers D has been good this year but not great and thier offense has kind of been where it usually is which means it can put up points but not usually a lot where I feel the Packer offense can put up lots of points and I am not sure that the Steelers can match them.

In the end this is harder decision than you may think but honestly I think it hard to count out the Steelers. They win ugly all the time and Big Ben can play an entire game barely completing a pass just to have him drive down the field with like minute ledt in the game and throw the game winning TD in the back corner of the endzone with like 3 defenders around the reciever.

But still I feel like it is GB's year.

[QUOTE="Bobbles"]How did the Jets get a free ride into the playoffs this year? Bobbles

The jets needed help by Jacksonvillie losing a game for them to get in. Yes once there they smashed the Pats but they needed help to get there.

? What? No one laid down for them this year. I believe they went into Pittsburgh and got a win, isn't that earning your way into the playoffs? They also finished three games ahead of the Jags... not one, THREE! I don't like the Jets either but you're just hatin' too much on this one.

I know they won in Pittsburg, after losing the previous 2 games, losing the one after it to the Bears and winning thier final game of the season. Not sure if I would call that rolling into the playoffs but they still got in.

"On a bizarre day when the Jets defense sprang leaks everywhere in a wild 38-34 loss to the Bears, the future Hall of Fame running back was the bearer of good news: The Jets (10-5) clinched a playoff berth Sunday by virtue of the Jaguars' 20-17 overtime loss to the Redskins about 10 minutes after Gang Green lost for the third time in four weeks."

or

Week 16 NFL playoff scenarios

N.Y. JETS

Clinch a playoff spot with:

1) Win or tie OR [That didn't happen]

2) Jacksonville loss or tie OR [This did happen]

3) Indianapolis loss or tie" [That didn't happen either]

As for the other teams laying down I was actually talking about a quote from another post in this thread where it was said...

"But other then that I think it has got to be the Jets they haven't been to a Super bowl for a very long time and the Steelers I think could just sit this Super Bowl out, and let some one else win it for once, and that goes for the Colts and the Patroits too, which I know they are out but I think it's time for a new AFC Champion other then for the Pats, Colts, or Steelers."

Which is why I asked if he felt that other teams should just lay down and let the Jets win it all then because that is what I got from that.

Do I not like the Jets. Sure. I am sure you don't have a lovefest with the Eagles,Giants or Redskins either. Do I hate them? That would depend on what part of them we were talking about. I respect thier game, thier coach, not so much when they start running thier mouths like they had been. or crowning themselves the nexr superbowl champs in like training camp.
